Our camping trip quickly came to a halt about an hour from home. Had the camper towed to Lee Smith in Chattanooga a month or so ago and they rerouted some wires incorrectly, and caused arcing and regulator near alternator and battery to short out and fry. Battery wouldn’t hold a charge. We managed to limp our way to UT Performance in Dayton where Matt went above and beyond and out of his way to fix everything they messed up and get us back on the road. Great guy. Great shop. Great work. Thank you!!

I have a Subaru Outback that needed a headlight replaced. Due to the way Subaru designed this car the headlight bulbs are difficult to access, so I took my car to them and asked them to replace both headlights.When I got my car back, the headlights were pointed down at the ground. The light only goes a few feet in front of the car, making it impossible to drive at night. It was not like this before they replaced the headlights.I took the car to another shop (Barnes in Jasper, TN). They confirmed that UT Performance broke both headlight assemblies when they replaced the bulbs. The assemblies cannot be repaired and both must be replaced. My bill for parts and labor to repair the damage from UT Performance was $740.I paid UT Performance $200 for their work, so combined with the $740 in damages that they caused, 2 headlight bulbs have now cost me almost $1,000. And they never said a word to me that the lights were pointed at the ground, or that they broke anything and just left it like that. They took my payment and sent my car home in that condition.Avoid UT Performance! Take your car elsewhere!Services: General repairs & maintenance
