“Store is great for veggies, fruits, canning products, milk. Also selection of needed condiments, chips, dog treats. I got a mix of things but the cukes were as usual disappointing. I haven't found a good cucumber in quite awhile anywhere. They are dry and seeds taste funny. I always have to buy the English cucumbers. Disappointing”
“Great new Dollar General! Dogwood Heights honestly needed SOMETHING/ANYTHING there that the locals could go to to buy groceries and/or toiletries! Either it's because it's a new store or it's the biggest Dollar General I've been in”
“I'm not sure about the negative comments here but I found this little gem 25 yrs ago when I moved to Union Co. Never a bad experience ever! I come up here because you can't get a decent pizza or burger in Maynardville. For a store pizza they are fully loaded and fabulous! Best hotdogs too!”

“Located in Washburn on Tater Valley Road. Very quaint little country store. Pictures on the wall tell the story of a long lineage of family that have run the store over the years. They have a little bit of everything from groceries to a deli to gas. You can even buy first aide types of medicine and supplies. The deli serves a "home-cooked" variety of small meals. Try the mini burgers!! Friendly service. They don't charge exorbitant convenient store prices either. Great "historical " type place to visit if you are anywhere near Washburn in Grainger County.”
