I really don't understand the negative reviews. Not all gas stations honor coupons. I've never had a bad experience there. I go to this store nearly everyday. I have lived here a year and a half. The owners are nice and the store is constantly busy. The food is great and the prices are that of every other gas station. Yes it's expensive but it's a convenience store. You are paying for convenience. Lots of variety as well and the only place I can get a caffeine free diet drink. Keep up the great work. ?

I've lived in town for over a year now and don't understand the negative reviews. The ladies that work on the weekends are always nice, beer prices aren't inflated, pizza is always hot. Not sure what more you want from a small town gas station.

I would give it a -5 if I could. You are a business owner in a very small community and you're rude to everyone? I don't know how they still have one person walking in the door! If your child have to use the restroom while shopping, they refuse to let them by telling them it's out of order. If you're not buying five dollars worth of merchandise, you cannot use your debit card. At all! Other small businesses have simply said if it is under five dollars it will be a $.50 charge. I'm fine with that. I can't wait for Dollar General to open and take all of their business! They deserve to be shut down.

Refuses to honor vendor coupons based on the picture instead of what the coupon's terms and conditions say. Also will not honor the $1 off for Marlboro cigarettes that is on the package, something they have already saved on as they get the carton at the already reduced price point, thus making an extra $10 each carton via dishonesty. Does this by ringing customer up before they see the package. Most everything here is overpriced to boot, even for a gas station convenience store. Girls in the morning are nice, owners are the problem.

Would give 0 if possible. The owners, who always work the afternoon-close shift, are rude, and everything here is overpriced, even for being a convenience store, aside from the cheap low quality food they serve. The worst part though is the way they sell cigarettes, which I can only assume they get away with simply because they are the only choice for a few miles in any direction. While it is the right of any retailer to refuse to honor coupons, they will act like they accept coupons for cigs but argue with you and refuse based on the picture on the coupon, not the terms and conditions. Example: $2 coupon has pictures of menthol on it, so they say it's for menthol only, despite the terms saying any style. On top of that, some styles of cigarette come with a $1 off promotion, which is something that the retailer doesn't have to cover, as they buy the carton at the already reduced price from the supplier. But this gas station will not honor that promo, even though again they have already received "credit" ahead of time, thus they are cheating the customer to make an extra buck per pack. And they get away with this by ringing up the customer and having them pay before ever giving them or letting them see the pack. This is beyond dishonest, just to pinch an extra buck out of customers who are essentially loyal through lack of local options. The "service" provided by the owners is beyond rude at every level. Often, you will walk in and the woman will barely if at all acknowledge the customer, even as they are ringing up, and is usually on the phone loudly as well while you try to talk. You get the general feeling that she feels you are beneath her or something most of the time. I will certainly be doing the inconvenient thing in the future, and drive 10-15 minutes away to Shelbyville even if just for a soda or bag of ice, even though I live within walking distance of this place. It's a shame, because some people who work here are extremely pleasant, but the actual owners are anything but. I recommend that anybody who can go out of their way to go elsewhere if at all possible.
