while visiting this establishment while visiting family i had to come into this gas station for last minute necessities. when i was walking to the door i thought it was an okay place. when i walked in it felt like i had walked into the gates of hell because they have no air conditioning and there is also a deli that makes the heat worse. i feel horrible for the girls who work there because they are in front of hot grills and everything else which makes it worse for them. not to mention the flies EVERYWHERE. they swarm you as soon as you walk into the building. this is very nasty considering food is being made. the floors were sticky and i almost fell out of my skechers. when i got back in my vehicle i felt the need to bathe in hand sanitizer because it was so scummy. to make the experience even worse a man that goes by the name happy was extremely rude and seems like he’s not a people person and wasn’t very “happy” so i don’t even understand why he manages the place, it makes me think about how poorly the employees are treated when they come into work. i also told him to invest in some fly traps and he seemed to be almost offended by my advice.thank you.

Always clean with friendly service and gas prices are usually the lowest around. They usually have good food to order from their menu at reasonable cost. Great stop on your way to work or home or even on your way to the river.

Great hole in the wall! Finished up some hikes at Rock Island State Park and stopped by for lunch. Catfish sandwich was great as well as the Philly and supreme chicken sandwich. Caramel pie was delicious! Delicia and her daughter Allie know what they are doing!

Since the change in owners, this store has gone downhill. You need gas? That's about all you can count on anymore. No consistency in stock or grill hours anymore, so don't count on it being a "convenient" store in the neighborhood. Sad because it's the only store we have around here, so if anyone is interested in opening up a new store and grill in the area,now would be a good time to do it.

Sad to say isn't the same place that it used to be, has changed over the past several months in every aspect. Hope things will change for the better or might make the drive to town worth it
