Too long between fillings, and no idea of when it was filled, or how many gallons, until up to a month later, when the invoice is received. Used to get an invoice left in the door,or the newspaper tube, when it was filled.

You can never get a hold of anyone when you have questions since they went to a call center. Let me transfer you to this person then this person. On average you will go through 4 people before you find someone who actually knows what is going on.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS ! The only time you will talk to someone locally is if you are a first time customer ! ….so after Attempting to request fuel delivery online and we were unable to do so.( locked out of old account ) We called Customer Service in hopes of getting a fuel delivery , again after several attempts and promises for delivery, no fuel ! I called Customer Service again , the rep we spoke to said to go online and open a new account and try to get delivery via Internet, when we opened a “new” account Husband was forced to sign another agreement which he did , And started requesting delivery there, again absolutely no fuel was delivered . With winter approaching, we decided to choose another company and called AmeriGas to cancel account. The following month we received a bill for early cancellation . I Called customer service approximately six times each time they told me that the bill would be “ Forgiven” only to be put into collections ! . All this and never receiving one drop of fuel from AmeriGas.

I don't have to go down to my tank and see if I need gas. That is very difficult since I use a walker & tank is hard for me to get to. You figure out from my usage patterns when to come fill my tank automatically and then send me a bill. It's great.

I was quoted by phone by two different customer advocates (Julia and Wendy) that the tanks that are 11-15 years old sell for $550/tank but management increased that to $750/tank when I asked if they would sell them for $550 for the both since they are 13 and 14 years old and are 120 gal tanks. They promised a response within 24-72 hrs but I never got a response and when I chatted with Shubham, all he said was the ticket was closed-it was pulling teeth to get a response…I still didn’t get a reason why the increase and am VERY disappointed and dissatisfied with all interactions and service with AmeriGas.

The technician visited in January 2024 & filled up my tank with 23 gal.Then in February 2024 filled up my tank with 133 gal. My prior history (2023) I only used 73 gal. in 7 months! I am concerned I have a gas leak in my tank, but nobody has scheduled a technician to come out & do a leak detection.inspection.

The national company has terrible customer service. A robot would be better. Need gas in December, you will likely receive gas in March. You don’t need gas in August, no problem they will show up and give you a $250 service fee and 7 gal of gas after you repeatedly tell them not to come out. If you have a choice in Blount Co, choose Suburban, Blossman or any other company. If you get a gas tank with this company, you will regret it by the time you need your first fill-up, if not sooner.
