“My air conditioner compressor was getting ready to go out, making a terrible sound. I didn't know where to go, but drove past J Byrd Automotive and decided to check them out. How perfect, he looked at it, gave me a quote and I had there the next morning. My Jeep is running perfectly. The guys were really nice, the business was very clean. I would highly recommend them to everyone. I know I will go back for another oil change ( yes, they did that for me too) and anything else I need without hesitation!”

Got my truck to where it needed fixed. Definitely recommending these folks to everyone out here if you ever have troubles.”

820 W Main St, Union City“Terry is top notch, super friendly and very knowledgable. Had engine trouble 4 hours from home and he got us going within a reasonable amount of time. Hard to find service like that these days. Thanks again for looking out for us and our 2000 Jeep Cherokee, our family is ever so grateful. If you ever are in Olney, IL I hope we run into each other. Take care.”
“Jason is a true professional. My tire management system warned me I was losing air on a semi-tractor drive tire. After stopping on the side of the road, I could HEAR the leak. The tire lost 25 lbs. psi in about 20 minutes.I was only about 2 miles from this shop, fortunately, and he assured me I could get there before I lost enough air to damage tire and/or rim.He arrived promptly and found the reason for my leak--a nail about 2 inches long. He repaired my tire quickly. As a result of his excellent service, I'm still on schedule to make my delivery tonight, and I won't have to reschedule the pickup after that.”
“First of all, I've been going to Halls since I was a teenager. He fixed my brakes for me when I was 17, and didn't charge me anything. Wilson had "fixed" then in south Fulton but they failed in union city, so I went to the first shop I made it to. Halls. I've went to him over the years if I had to take my car to the shop, which I hate to do because they charge so darn much. Anyways, fast forward to this year. My Santa Fe, Maggie, was having problems with the brakes and wheels. I was going to have to get a new caliper, my axle had fallen out, etc.... $300 people. $300 was all it cost and it's perfect. He stays busy and I know why. They are a great shop with old school mechanics, knowledge and comrodery. He listened to me even though I'm a woman and that gives me respect immediately... Because let's face it, ALOT of them don't. I LOVE HALLS AUTOMOTIVE”
