The "only self checkout" thing is getting very annoying. It has been a long time since I actually had a cashier here, aside from the large purchases at the service desk. During my last two visits I had the self checkout "helper" standing so close to me that I felt uncomfortable. Today they guy was standing less than 3 feet from me looking over my shoulder. He could have had a better view from a different angle at a distance. I know it is their job to watch the people checking out, but it was ridiculous how close they were standing these last two visits. If management feels the need to have someone watch the customers that closely, then maybe they should consider opening a checkout lane...Don't worry I will only be back in a dire need situation when I can't wait on Amazon and the local hardware stores are closed.Previous: Went to get paint the other night, had to wait for a while to get anyone to help. I picked out the 30 dollar a gallon variety only to notice when I got home that they had mixed the 45 dollar a gallon paint. Ill assume that it was accidental. In the past month I have spent close to 6K there between appliances and home improvement items. The associates in the appliance area were super friendly and very helpful, but that is where it falls apart. I had to go to the service desk because I was paying in cash. The girl that seemed to be in charge gave my wife and I sass from the start. There was young guy that tried to help, but he was so under trained that he just made a mess out of everything. It took me over 20 minutes to pay for the items that I ordered in the appliance area. I already had the delivery and installation dates as well as warranties and accessories picked out. All they had to do was retrieve my invoice from the computer and take my cash. I was amazed at the level of incompetence of the one and the attitude of the other.

Found what I was looking for. Only one employee greeted me in the store and I passed several. Hospitality missing. They should be greeting every one. The shopping experience is a key component.

The "pros" they have to help you is like getting help from joe biden. Seriously they don't know much about the department these people are "helping" with. I needed a 20 amp breaker. First trip never got anyone got the breaker I thought was it. Not it, took it back got another one this time with the "help" from lowes pro electrician and 18 dollars higher was assured that was it. Well guess what it wasn't. The pro said he NEVER herd or seen a breaker with a made in neutral wire. First breaker was 8 bucks second breaker was 27 found the breaker on line the cheapest is 50 bucks. The store looks like the local dollar store messy messy. Lowes should use some of the money it makes and get your folks educated.

For the second time I purchased a full house of Whirlpool appliances! Had a slight problem with getting the range on the second go around but Bill the delivery guy always kept me informed.

I'm sorry to say that the Union City, TN store was uncomfortably warm and we didn't enjoy shopping today.

The store is small. They rarely have items in stock. The real reason I'm giving them three stars, however, is that the service desk has a manager there, female, blond hair who takes her sweet time ignoring me every time I have come in there. She can't seem to multitask to help the other service employees with transactions. They've apologized for having to wait on her to finish conversations with other employees. There is a younger gentleman who is unfriendly as well. He has been in charge of bringing me out a locked generator and appliances. He makes me feel like I'm a burden. A smile would go a long way.

Love that you guys are getting Kline products, I travel so much sometimes if I lose a tool there isn't a home depot around and I would have to get something less quality then that product down the line breaks or dulls and then again I wouldn't be around a Kline supplier. So happy about this place and decent wire selection, wish you guys had more beam clamps. Thanks
