I bought a battery for my riding mower in April of this year. I went to start it up yesterday nothing . So I called Lowes up and the guy said do you have your receipt I said no . He said they can track it by your debit card. So I went up there and it was passed the 90 days . I was not going to but another battery from them. So I got home called the store asked to speak to the manager . I did we went around and around finally I told him I would be up there . He looked it up again and it wasn't to far out from the 90 day warranty which no one told me about. He gave me a new one . I got home took it out of the box and it was the wrong type same brand but wouldn't match up. So I went back up there for a 3 rd time told them the manager gave me the wrong battery. I wanted to talk to him or another manager. I waited over 5 minutes for one to show up but no one did so I left. I still have the new battery so I guess I will sell it to someone who needs it cause I will not go back to Lowe's again

If they don't have what you need, they can ship and have it in a couple of days.

Had the worst experience at this location, the rental department and its manager Belinda to be exact. I had reserved to rent a generator a month out from a family camping trip through Tenn.
Upon arrival to pick up my reservation I was informed by I wouldn’t be able to because I didn’t have a Tennessee drivers license (reservation was done under my Oklahoma address). After asking the store manager and a phone call to Belinda I was in fact still denied a rental. Thankfully a relative could come back with us the next morning to grab it but still setting us back almost a full day on our trip. Upon arrival the next morning the employee in the rental department mentioned that the manager Belinda mentioned she was going to call to let me know I couldn’t rent it but never did.
Now comes the generator itself, before leaving all the Lowe’s employee checked was the fuel level and that the unit started. After arriving at our first destination the generator lasted about 3 hours before shutting off because of the oil sensor. We topped it off with oil and then tried again, the until already had a slight surge to its rhythm while running but chalked it up to the drag from the ac unit on the trailer. The first tank (Lowe’s fuel) of fuel ran out shortly after, we let the unit cool and then with the brand new gas can I also bought from Lowe’s and non ethanol fuel we refilled the unit. After refuel the unit wouldn’t run more than 5-10 minutes, finally after giving up and being too far away to bring the unit back to Lowe’s without ruining our trip we took it by a local small engine shop. That’s where we discovered the carburetor was in bad shape with water and trash in the bowl as well as damage from water that had obviously been in the carb for a while. Thankfully the shop we stopped at was very nice and speedy so we were able to finish our trip with a working generator. Upon return of the unit I got a glance of Belinda finally as she asked what I was needing help with. As soon as I told her a generator return she walked to the back never to be seen again even after asking the employee she sent to the front to assist me with the return. I mentioned the issue with having to get the unit fixed and the employee asked what got done but nothing else ever came of it. Just a very frustrating experience from the individual store policy changes to the non existent management, down the the faulty equipment.

Spoke with Manager James about a project we were having on our farm for school children and he was glad to help. I’m so glad to have the support of our local Lowe’s store. I’ll continue bypassing the other store that’s in between my home and this store because of the customer service they provide. To top off that great service Kim was there to make sure I received those items and help me load them into my truck.
Thank you James and Kim.

I had ordered a range online with a date in which it would arrive at the local store. After I didn’t receive a text about the time of delivery I called the store to see if the range had arrived. I spoke to someone in the customer pickup section who told me the range order was canceled due to a wrong PO number and a wrong price was posted on the Lowe’s page. I understand mistakes happen but the price was on the website for a while and I’m sure others ordered the range too. To me that was false advertising. I have spent a lot of money at Lowe’s remodeling. The stove was for my second remodel this year and I have spent a lot of money at Lowe’s to be scammed this way. The PRICE posted is what customers expect to pay for merchandise ordered.

Went back to return a lawnmower that I decided I didn't really need and found something better. I went to return it. Keep in mind, this is a zero turn lawnmower and had to be put on a trailer to transport back to the store. I went up to customer service and told the lady I needed to return a lawnmower. Her name started with an L... I know her name, but I'm deciding to be nice and not put her on blast through google review. She said, "well it has to be brought into the store before we can return it". I explained to her that it was a zero turn lawnmower and there was no way we could get it inside the store. She then started looking at my receipt, I guess to make sure it was within the 30 day guidelines, which it was. I wouldn't of brought it to the store if I hadn't of been absolutely sure that it was. She was just very rude and obviously had no customer service skills. Then, there was obviously no adequate coverage in the lawn and garden department so I stood there about 15 minutes waiting I guess so an associate could verify that the mower was in good shape and running. Just a very unpleasant experience with the lady at customer service due to her attitude.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my most recent Tullahoma Lowe’s visit. We have literally almost built our entire home out of this store, and this one trip has made me regret spending every dollar I have spent here. I came to buy a hot water heater and the guy who helped me pick it out was wonderful. I thanked him very much for the information he gave me and for helping me decide which one to get. I was there with my 7 month old and it was later in the evening so he was getting kind of fussy. It came to the moment where I purchased my water heater and the lady told me she was going to call her manager to help me load up. Well I stood outside with my crying baby for 10 minutes waiting and I came back inside to see if she might have forgotten. She was talking with another employee laughing and messing around. So she saw me peak around the corner and goes oh let me call him again sorry about that. So I go outside and I’m standing by my car and see that they aren’t willing to bring it to my car so I pull up to the door instead. He takes his sweet time trying to figure out how he was going to load it. Talking back and forth with someone on his phone in between all of this. Finally he gets me loaded as I am taking care of my crying baby. I trust that he loaded me ok. So I leave. Which was my mistake I admit. I get about 10 minutes down the road and it falls out of the bed of my truck. The 900 dollar tank is completely ruined and I’m crying with my baby on the side of the road…. I call the store and speak with the manager and he is so unapologetic and could care less. Tells me it was my responsibility to make sure it was loaded good and that there’s nothing that he can do. I am so upset because I wish I wasn’t out this much money now. I didnt expect them to completely just say come back and we will replace the item but some sort of help or CARE would have been nice. and especially with as much business as we have done with Lowe’s. He told me “ oh really? How much money have you spent with us then?” That was completely uncalled for. Customer service is everything. Sadly the manager can’t even provide that here. Home Depot would have taken care of me I promise you that. Or better yet someone local like builders supply. 900 dollars is a lot to me, and it’s apparently not enough for Lowe’s for me to spend my money there. It really really sucks.

While my husband and I was shopping the experience was good until we got to self check out. We scanned all of our items getting ready to pay and this young worker come over like we didn't scan one of our items which was the first item we scanned. He jumped over us and scanned that very item as. The whole time me telling this guys I already scanned that. Like I was going steal something. Then made us wait until another person come up to get it off. I was so aggravated at this dude. If you think people are stealing because the way they look or dress then jump on a register by all means and check us out. Don't assume that I didn't ring something up.
