We have only been twice, first round a morning tee time. Second round an afternoon time. First time we stayed in front of the people working on the greens but watched as groups golfing got interrupted. Second time playing course, they were rolling the green on 15 instead waiting for the huge break behind us. We had to skip the hole. The same worker passed us on 16 and started leaf blowing the green while we were hitting our approach shots and putting. The same worker then caught back up on 18 and sat beside the green with his engine on and talking to another worker in another car while we were trying to putt. We also noticed while finishing up the back 9, around 3 pm, that they changed the cup locations on the front 9 as the twilight groups were starting.
So while the course prices are decent/relatively cheap, be prepared for interruptions to your game.

I spent a recent weekend here and had a very relaxing time. The place was almost surreal with the views and the peacefulness. There is not much in the way of outside entertainment but if you are up for complete relaxation and introspect, it's the place for you. A great place for golfing as well.

This rating is only for the restaurant. We have come here every year for several years and have always enjoyed it. However, today was different. We ordered a sausage sandwich and a roast beef sandwich. They arrived wrapped to go, even though we were clearly seated to stay. No chips. No silverware. No sauerkraut. No horseradish. No iced tea. No plates. I just felt things had really gone downhill.

I’m giving this 5 stars. Yes, the fairways are a bit rough in spots and tees could use some water, but price to experience ratio, we had a great time.
Dial down the expectations of perfect conditions and this has become our favorite place to play in the area. Staff and bartender were fun, other golfers were nice, greens were soft and true and the wildlife was off the charts.
Not to mention the views and feeling of isolation.
After 40+ years of playing golf I don’t take it serious all the time anymore. Wild Laurel is a perfect spot for getting the whole golf experience for a reasonable price.
Will be back!

This is a favorite course of mine. This course let's nature coexist with the game very well. It is incredibly common for turkeys or deer to walk across the fairway during your playtime.

I really enjoy playing this course. The scenery is beautiful, and the service is excellent. We even spotted several turkey and a coyote lounging on the course, and everyone we encountered was very friendly. However, my 3-star review is based on the condition of the course. The fairways were in rough shape, with a mix of different grasses that made it feel like we were playing in someone’s backyard. Additionally, three of the pins on the back nine were not properly supported by the cup, which resulted in the edges of the cups being damaged by the flagsticks. I plan to return with the hope that the grounds crew will have the course in better shape for the fall season.

The course has beautiful scenery! It's challenging, but I felt like it was a realistic course for women as well. My husband, daughter, her boyfriend, and I all thought it was great!

We played Wild Laurel last week and had a good experience. Nothing exceptional about the course and exactly what we expected for a $50 round. Only complaint was there is no driving range to warm up. They did have a net with 4 stations to hit off turf but the net in front had many holes in it and numerous balls were lost during warm ups. The clubhouse was fantastic with great service and views of the mountains. We enjoyed our round!
