“Great store to shop, very clean and well stocked. The best part of shopping here is zero self checkout and you get to interact with humans. It’s nice to have someone to ring up and bag your groceries and not have to do it all your self. There are plenty of places to go to ring up your own stuff and not get paid extra to do it or get price break to do so. Support small town atmosphere and support businesses that still employ cashiers and actual people. Also prices here are really good especially with the mvp card and if you take time to use the app extra deals on there too!! My recent purchase would have been just over 20 bucks and it ended up being 14.21 out the door with the savings.”

“The store is clean. The variety of goods offered to the customer is awesome. I did find that the customer service was lacking. No smiles, nod of the head or any type of greeting was offered. This was true throughout the store and at the register. I asked to fill out an Ingles Card, but it was as if I didn't say anything. I will try again in the near future.”

“I go thru withdrawals, when I don't shop here, periodically. I love this place. They have so many choices. Some regular items are microwave bacon (150 slices); containers and lids, packaging supplies, wonderful baking and prep pans; cheeses (today I got 1.5 lbs sliced Colby jack for approx $4.xx! .. real cheese!) They've added some Mexican food items. They have Chinese food items. I lusted after some commercial type, used refrigerators. Food for larger groups is a passionate hobby for me. And organizing my kitchen prep is so helpful. You may love their items and prices as much as I do. (They do have some pre-made desserts; but, compared to homemade? It's pricey. )”

It's a great place to run in for a few things definitely better than Walmart if you don't have to get alot. They have a large selection of items like a mini-Walmart! “Ingles Pharmacy in Jonesborough is by far the best pharmacy in town. We had an issue with our doctors office and insurance. The doctor refused to see my husband to get his mental health med refilled and also refused to call in a 3 day emergency supply. We went to the pharmacy and told them what was going on. The pharmacist on duty was diligent and able to get the authorization for the emergency supply. Please keep in mind that stopping this med cold turkey can cause death. The doctor didn't care but our pharmacy did! Thank you to all the staff in the pharmacy for caring and providing superior customer care!”

“I hope this is the dollar store in boones creek. I men's what can I say it is the dollar store. They got everything and anything.. frezzer is little slim but then have it, milk, eggs etc lunch meat, etc. They do have cans food, Box foods chip etc like little grocery store and little walmart all in one. “What a great grocery store. Perfectly stocked, clean and has a great variety of things I use every day. They have an enormous selection of cheeses, meats and bakery items. I have personally taken advantage of their hot deli several times as well as the salad and soup bar. It's hard to help not notice how well they keep things clean and organized on every aisle. The self checkout was quick and easy for an in and out shopping experience. I almost forgot, their produce section is unbelievable. It reminds me of some of the farm stands I went to when I was young where the best part of the harvest was laid out for display. If you've never been here, I urge you to do a walkthrough someday and I'm sure you will agree with everything I have said.”

“This was not my typical experience with the bakery at Food City but when I went to order a birthday cake no one was anywhere to be found. Someone finally walked by and asked to help. She took our order but everything we asked if they could put on the account she said no. When I went to pick it up me and another lady waited a good 10 mins with multiple employees walking past us several times and not 1 offered any assistance. I finally called them from my cell while standing at the bakery. He tells me they are already gone for the day. When I asked what time they would be in he replied "early". The cake was good but it was definitely the plainest $25 cake I've ever had.”

Also since the new owner took over prices on certain things are way to high so we go to the roadrunner down the rd for most things now. But Shortys pizzas ? is the best!”
