As with the other KARMS in Morristown, this one is a bit steep on their prices, and I find this one is a bit more bit-or-miss on clothes that I like and can find in my size, so I tend to stop by both if I plan to visit this one, but I have found some nice clothes and shoes here too, so it's definitely worth checking here from time to time as well! My sister also tends to find clothes she really enjoys at this one! I do hate that the undershirts are priced the same as regular shirts, since an undershirt for me also requires a shirt or other layer over it, and I can't afford to pay that for both, especially when the undershirt is useless to me, if I have nothing to wear with it. So, personally that stinks, but sometimes I find something nice that I can afford and fits me right.

Has a 2nd hand store their prices have went up. I'm sure if they check their sales they have decrease in the last year. I use to round up to help fight hunger but with the prices they should not need it.

I get that you're helping out one group, which is great, but it kind of feels like it's putting a strain on another. Since it's a thrift store, maybe doing a bit of price comparison with other local thrift shops could help find a sweet spot that's more affordable? Plus, keeping an eye on the store's reputation is key. People who donate, as well as those you're aiming to support, might feel disheartened seeing negative reviews, especially about high prices. It's all about striking that balance.

Over Priced - Staff Rude not Friendly. Another shopper started to get something out of a bin the worker was putting up and they told her she had to wait until they had it on the shelf. Really, lol. When I go to Walmart if they are stocking soda or chips and I want some they are more than happy to let me get what I need. They usually ask if I need anything else. These Karm employees hoard this stuff like it is gold, lol. Old worn out junk with outrageous prices and you cannot touch until I tell you to. What a joke. So unprofessional, not customer friendly at all. And then of course they never fail to do their Karm duty begging for your change when you check out. Karm has turned their employees into nothing more than street beggars, can I have your change, can I have a penny, a quarter, its for a good cause. Yeah right, nobody buys that lie. The CEO is getting rich and laughing all the way to the bank.

They have no public restroom.Jesus must want people to pee in the parking lot because it smells of urine.Overpriced! They'll share the generic response that all funds go to homeless etc. And say their donated items are priced to their value. But the items are still well over priced. You might get lucky on a few items. Yet, most items were tagged for more than the original seller's price..the workers seemed pretty upset to the question of why they were so highly priced, so I'm guessing it's a common occurrence. Thank God they consider the poor in the local jeffcity community.

On the positive, clean and well organized, otherwise, very very expensive. Not my favorite thrift store as is not thrifty for me.

First time at this chain thrift store as we don't have them in North. Large store with some furniture displays, lots of clothes, linens, and shoes. Nice assortment of household items. The clothing was better brands than at the Goodwill nearby. Quality was good but racks messy. Sizing was partially in place but lots of pieces out of order. Prices were high. Lowest pants price was $9.99, but saw some as high as $19.99 Housewares were pricey, almost the same as new. I saw a small ceramic tray for $24.99 that probably was less than that new. I did like that they decorated the end caps and front of the register. The displays were well done. Toy dept was skimpy and not in great condition. Some items were grab bags. Larger toys had a mark down system as the label stated the prices were different every 30 days. Only two dressing rooms and a long wait. Definitely undersized for a store of this size and everyone ignored the 5 garment limit. Walked out empty handed only because nothing I liked fit, but will stop again if I come this way again.

I do like this store better than Morristowns. Staff is much nicer. The cost of items are ridiculous though! Can’t afford to shop here much.

Great inventory, clean store pleasant staff BUT the prices are ridiculous. I understand the concept that some money goes to charity . Thats a wonderful thing to help others. Please consider that lower more reasonable prices increases sales. Still helping your mission, while allowing your community the chance to afford shopping your stores..

I do give them a 5 star because of what they do to help people. But, I do have a question why make them get out at light. Do people even have a vehicle to go job hunting and what about counseling?? Stores all over the place and they sell a lot of things. Can KARM do more with all this money they get??? AND WHY NOT A PUBLIC BATHROOM??? WHY NOT?? If they have a bathroom maybe people would shop more. Everyone needs to use a bathroom I just don't understand that???

People leaving negative critical reviews are truly amazing to put it kindly, otherwise I know this would be flagged... OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!PRICES:Funds go to help people in need, period. It costs money to put up these stores, utilities, staff, rescue ministries, training, housing, etc.If someone takes the time to write a scathing review about how they can go buy something retail somewhere else... you are missing the point / purpose of KARM.Personaly I've scored huge deals and I don't care if something is close to a retail price.Hey, have you ever been to a big chain book store? then while there compared the book prices on Amazon? Hmmm! Big difference there huh?Know what big chain sez? They can't compete and they'd go out of biz if they sold their books at Amazon prices.Wanna know the real difference?Digital Kindle and low quality / cost Print On Demand books (read reviews of binding issues and covers coming off) vs. Publisher Printed quality books that don't fall apart and here again Staffed brick and mortar stores... just like KARM.Oh yeah, have you checked the book, CD and DVD prices at KARM? 5 for 5 dear. Wah!SALARIES:Research the same salary of the same positions and tittle of other people at other companies and ask yourself if you'd take a pay cut for your education / degree just because you work at a charity organization and if they are actually in line with other salaries.MISSING STICKERS:Let's pretend this is your flea market booth that you've carefully inventoried and priced with little stickers.Imagine if you will ... you don't have a missing sticker policy and word got out...Suddenly every item is missing its sticker.Whatcha gonna do ?Well gee wiz Beaver... Are you gonna implement a policy, lookup and then relabel your items OR cave into every sneaky shoplifter and just give away everything?Oh but wait. It was all given to KARM so it should be free for you then, right?Yes, I do realize that stickers do legit fall off from browsers handling items. Pssst, I've had to locate said stickers that are labled and reapply them.Otherwise, let my people go! LOLYeah, they have to be redone and can be held for you.No Harm No Foul. No, KARM rocks and there will always be entitled haters trolling anything good.I pray that the miserable reviewers find Jesus.

New prices for worn out stuff. All the employees were busy shopping . I hate that karm has such a strong hold in this area. They are not a good thrift store. Before donating to this corporation, look into how much actually makes it to charities and how much profit (off of free to them merchandise) they keep.Googling the amounts paid to employees is eye opening. Several positions in the company pay over $100,000 according to the internet. That's a lot of the profit that they make off free donated merchandise!

Rude and inconsiderate. Waited in line when it was my turn the stupid cashier took someone in front of me. Laughed and thought it was funny. Unprofessional and no customer service.
