This place is terrible. It was red dot than they changed the name. I was told nothing is changing. Well, I sent in a request about 3 weeks now about my code doesn't work. No response back on my ticket. But they can send out a letter saying my rent is going up next month. ? But for the last 2 weeks, the gate as been open for anyone to go in there and break in to my stuff. So now I need to figure something out and get my stuff out and close my account.

Just rented a storage unit for my daughter online. Had to call in to get a gate code but the employee I spoke with (Linsay)was very helpful and friendly while getting the code.

I had some difficulty leasing a unit online...completely my error. When I called to get assistance, Linsay was so helpful and got my problem resolved rather quickly. I highly recommend Red Dot Storage

I don't have an account with your company anymore BUT my nephew and niece do. I went with him on Christmas bc Santa Claus was in his unit and the pad to enter the code to get in was malfunctioning and we tried and tried calling anyone to help us get into his unit but no one ever answer or even respond back. So with that being said I would definitely NOT recommend Red Dot Storage to anyone, well at least not to anyone who might need to get into their unit in a hurry, period!!!!!

I ask for a climate control unit and she gave me a non climate control unit. I had just arrived from central Missouri with my personal belongings and I had no place else to put my belongings. I had to turn the truck in on Thursday the day I arrived at Red Dot. Now I have to pay to rent another truck and I’m being charged for something I didn’t ask for.

Horrible experience. The unit let water under the door and ruined all my things. It was about a 2inch water mark. Unit was still wet when unloading it. Would never use again.

We had been using this storage unit for a number of years and had few problems until Red Dot took it over. They put a fence around the entire perimeter which seemed great at the time for added security, until the day we realized the lift mechanism on our storage unit door had deteriorated so badly that we could no longer lift it to open. Met with a maintenance manager in August '21 who also could not lift it but he assured us they would have someone out to fix it. Fast forward to now and it is December '21 ) : I have made innumerable phone calls and sent emails to Red Dot to get this resolved and have gotten the run around even to the point they tried to blame us for not telling them we wanted to move out. Every month I get notices of lack of payment and phone calls telling me they are going to put our items up for auction. I have talked with many customer service reps on a recorded line, only one which has a human heart and they assured me that they understand why we are not making payments since we have now been locked out of the facility and cannot even confirm that our things are still there, and we've been told to 'ignore' all the collections notices. And yet they keep coming. I have customers wanting to purchase the items we have in storage but I can't even get in to show them what we have since we are locked out and unable to access our possessions. They are in essence holding our property hostage. Please note, we have always paid our rental invoices. We have withheld these last two months only because we would have moved out by now if we could have. We are not trying to skip out. We just want to move out of this unit and we cannot. We were paid up when we decided to move out. In order to help expedite this issue, I have even sent them the contact info for a garage door company who could be there within two hours and have it fixed in three but they give me the song and dance that they can only use contracted vendors and are at the mercy of their schedules. Such a line of bs. Who would keep a contractor who NEVER shows up? When I tried to go higher up the chain of command I was told there is no phone number to talk to an owner or manager of Red Dot and that I would have to use the US Mail to contact them. They have only one phone number to call and it only leads to dead ends. I asked to have the property manager meet me at the unit to discuss this in person with someone local and they questioned me on what I wanted to discuss and i was eventually told they don't know his schedule. ??? What kind of answer is that?? In the end we are still waiting and writing and our things are still being held hostage in the fences of Red Dot goulag (sp?) What a racket! They hold your possessions behind a digitally locked fence and if they don't want to address a problem they simply lock your entrance code and continue sending invoices and making harassing phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! Too big for their own good. Irritated in Illinois

Everything was fine until I noticed several units including mine, some theif thinks they're slick they have tried to cut the WHOLE DAMN LOCK MECHANISM OFF WITH CUTTERS. WELL I PLACED A FULL VIEW NIGHT VISION CAMERA ON AND INSIDE MY UNIT. SOOOOO WHEN I CATCH THEM THEY WILL BE SHOWN LIVE all over social media so when I post a video saying"Grab ur popcorn, gotta see it.....
