Let me begin by saying I shop at this Goodwill frequently but late yesterday afternoon changes everything for me!! My neighbor myself and her 2 young children 10 & 7 went to find/purchase some items for a Christmas craft party. The store was unorganized as usual which doesn’t bother me and we were all having fun joking about things ect. We found several items and the kids we’re excited and maybe a little to excited lol so as we were approaching the register one of the cashier’s started yelling at the kids for running up to check out and so we went to the only other register that was open to avoid a confrontation and that cashier and another customer started saying how it’s rude when adults let they’re children destroy the store……. The children never left our sides!!!! Then the cashier refused to check me out and told me I had to go to the other register. NOW let me just say I have been shopping here for over 10 years and the unruly children and customers I’ve seen and never has any employees treated them in that manner in my presence. So needless to say I won’t be back!! It’s bad enough that the store has raised their prices for a lot of junk but when they treat there customers with such disrespect that’s where it draw the line. I hate to bring race into this situation but we we’re the only white ones!

Absolutely rude and unorganized employees. They want to yell at customers for their own mistakes and then use the "we're understaffed" excuse. Hate to put back all my good finds but I refused to be at fault for their lack of planning.

I will carry my donations to this location as long as they have people who can help ( with large donations) and buggies to load in. I carried my last loads to Mount Juliet and Hermitage and I will carry everything to the dump before donating there again.

It is such an inconvenience to have all of the dressing rooms closed. I understand they closed during Covid-19, however that was over 3 years ago so there is no excuse. If you are not going to allow the dressing rooms to be open, then give people their money back when they want to return and not store credit. Ridiculous.

You'd think with as busy as this Goodwill is and how great their workers are that corporate would put some time and money into the systems there. Poor ladies have to deal with them freezing up, shutting down, or slowing down. They stay calm and keep smiling through it all, though.

All of the good stuff they receive goes to an auction site. The store smells gross and the items they sell are overpriced garbage. A business like this has no place in a small town like Springfield. If you happen to be reading this and are considering donating items; please do not donate anything to this "for profit" company. "Goodwill" is just a name that is used to intentionally mislead people into thinking that the company is charitable when all they are about is money.

I encountered multiple employees while I was shopping and every single one of them had an attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing them. Such rude employees, makes for a horrible experience. I’ll never shop there again.

This store is adequate. Pros: Good parking, fair prices, decent variety.Cons: Donation drop off is behind the store and not attended. Dropping off donations was a little haphazard especially with other cars there at the same time. Workers here are very loud. I appreciate that they hire people with persistent mental health conditions. This is one reason I support Goodwill Industries. However, this store appears to lack supervision. I witnessed a worker yelling and demeaning a customers children, then proceed to repeatedly discuss the incident loudly across the store.I do recommend this store...just not strongly.

Generally speaking I love Goodwill and the whole "one man's trash is another man's treasure".But Goodwill is WAY TOO gutsy nowadays with attempting to price what they're certain they'll get.The gall to price something higher than it's original value really is a trigger for me. I've posted a short video of a decorative harvest cattail plant that is priced a whole dollar higher than the store's original sticker. On this particular visit there were TWO items that had original store stickers cheaper than Goodwill's sticker price. Now, maybe the economy is such that they know they can get away with it and will get their $...with some consumers. Maybe MOST consumers! But not with me. And it's not even about that higher priced dollar, with me.It's about that Goodwill is not non-profit anymore. They get their product and merchandise by donations! And they still have the nerve to ask at the checkout, the customer to donate to pay people for jobs at Goodwill. And then the balls on top of that to charge HIGHER than what the store's original asking price was...I guess that what it is...the balls and the nerve.I refuse to give in, tho.

Attention Mark Curran. Just left my local Goodwill, here in Springfield Tennessee. Cut my visit short, because there was absolutely no air conditioning. I hope Mark Curran is nice and comfortable today. Your employees should have went home. What kind of abuse do you think this is? Ridiculous. This will also be reported to other agencies, tomorrow. What a real shame.
