Food Lion is a great store with very competitive pricing and a good selection. The store is always clean and offers some of the best produce, meats, and deli lunch plates. The meat department is great. The staff is generally friendly, helpful, pleasant, and very personable, often providing good tips and outstanding customer service. There are always plenty of cashiers and baggers with no self-check lanes. However, some experiences with certain elderly employees have been described as rude, hateful, and angry, which has affected shopping frequency for some. Overall, many customers are thankful to have this store in their area.
