SHADY BUSINESS! BEWARE!We were unable to continue the class for personal reasons and informed them of this via text. They did let us know that we would need a drop form to cancel the class which I did request. I didn't receive a drop form until after they had debited my account again even after she had not attended in over 2 months. I finally received a drop form for which I filled out. Keep in mind that the last time she went to the class was in August and we have been charged continuously for a class she had not been to .. They knew we were not ,coming back and very sad that they were so money hungry to continue to charge my card for a class not being attended after knowing she wasn't coming back . The handling of this business is bogus and I would not take my child here. She also said she would "take legal action" if we didn't pay up, and my child hasn't been there in MONTHS! I could see the issue if she were attending and we didn't pay, but she wasn't even ATTENDING THE CLASSES! WE even paid after she had stopped going (because she was drafting my card) SHADY BUSINESS

Being a business owner myself, I usually do not like to leave negative reviews. I did try to resolve & explain to Jennifer my confusion, but I was met with reprimands instead of solutions. To make a long story short, I was searching for gymnastic lessons for my 7 year old. I found this contact in a local grapevine where I reached out to her about lessons. I was told private lessons were offered. Everything was set up & our first lesson was booked (after some confusion on all the online waivers & registration fees where she was just doing private lessons). We arrived at the facility finding it locked. I had to reach out to her to inquire. She called (was stopped by a train with no cell service, but she was able to call??) and arrived 15 minutes late. She did extend the lesson to make up for being late. That was appreciated, although I didn't get the chance to speak to her afterwards because her 4:30pm class had already started. I had to reach out to her to inquire. I Made 2 further private lesson appointments with confusion on sending an email or booking on the app. My daughter enjoyed her time with Jennifer, & I felt she was getting adequate one-on-one training. I did get an email saying a class was available for my daughter. After discussion, we decided to continue with private lessons. I never received a reply, so I sent it via text & on Facebook messenger where I initially reached out to her. I was then caught off guard with the reply received. Please see attachments. She has since blocked me on the scheduling app, her Facebook personal account & the Edge business account. I was never rude to this owner. I chose this facility because of the close location to home and trying to support local, but after this communication, I will be going elsewhere.

My 3 children have been training with Jennifer for a year now and they have learned so much. Not only gymnastics routines but their confidence and drive has grown in leaps and bounds (no pun intended). Lily has just made the Cheer Team and Ali has been asked to join the Pre-Team. My son Mitko loves going to practice every week. I have read some of those negative reviews posted and I have NEVER seen any of those behaviors from the coaches...they are amazing. They always have words of encouragement for the kids and never put them down. I honestly don't know how they keep 7-10 kids on track, safe and still manage to get they to learn new routines. Keep up the amazing job guys.

My son has been part of the Edge Gymnastics family for almost a year now. Coach Jennifer has been everything I expected from a coach. She has made him feel accepted, relevant and heard while being firm and patient. He loves his cheer and gymnastics family!

We have been part of edge for about 4-5 months. My daughter started when she was 3 years old with gymnastics. We added her to cheer and she's done she's an amazing job. She learned so much in the few months that she has been with the programs. It has taught her balance, sportmanship, discipline, determination, dedication and so much more. My list can go on and on. We love being part of edge gymnastics.

My niece used to be a “gymnast” at this location. I choose not to use the term “gym”, because the owner’s care for the customers and children is non existent. Regrettably, this is nothing more than a money source for Mrs. Jennifer. She has what looks to be a recurring habit of tricking people into thinking she “loves your child & wants the best”, when all she wants is your money. She feels compelled to make appalling remarks about their appearance (hair, weight, and more) and she has made such a negative impact on my niece, she has chosen to quit the sport entirely. Remarks about a child’s appearance is NOT a joke, it is inexcusable. To be frank, she shouldn’t be teaching young children. I am assuming the 5 star reviews are of people who haven’t been anywhere else, or are her personal friends. This “gym” doesn’t have a high enrollment or large team for a reason. It’s not covid, it’s Jennifer. Do the research and you will validate that point on your own. As a woman of color, I was so excited to see my niece want to reach for the stars just like Simone Biles. After this experience here, she wants nothing to do with it. After my families experience here, we see how toxic an environment like this can be. We will also be reporting to safesport for the safety concerns. She may be “certified” in safesport, but she didn’t apply it or she needs more training. It doesn’t matter what camps you go to or what you have printed off for certification if it isn’t applied. Perhaps someone who can spot the girls properly and she remove herself from that aspect entirely would be more beneficial. My niece and others have come close to being seriously hurt. We will be forwarding all videos and communication with Mrs. Jennifer to them and anyone else in power in gymnastics in hopes that she gets the help she needs. I plan on reaching out to others who have had similar experiences so we can gather our issues and look towards a resolution. Frankly, the responses from Mrs. Jennifer won’t solve anything. She takes no accountability, and just wants money. It’s time people hold those accountable who do wrong, and this is step one. Have a blessed day.

My kids have been going here since the summer of 2020. We love it. It's obvious that Jennifer and Leif put all of themselves into their business and that they really care about the kids.

My daughter has taken here for several years and has went from a beginner all the way to the Gymnastics Team as well as the cobras cheer team. She has learned so much during this time as well as gained so much confidence. We love this gym and the coaches !!

My 5 year old daughter has autism. Jennifer has gone above and beyond to help her success in gymnastics! So calm and caring with all the kids! We are so thankful Edge was recommended to us.

We moved to town a few months ago. I had contacted Jennifer before moving. She was very helpful with getting our daughter started. We have been very happy with our decision to join Edge gymnastics. Great gym, coach and all around people in the gym.

I would like to share my personal experience . Last weekend my granddaughter was happy to be going to a completion in cheer . The completion was in Huntsville Alabama first time going to one of these events. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of experience this was going to be. We had this planned for a few weeks. Then on the way to Huntsville I find out we don’t have a uniform in the car my question was did we forget it ? Then I find out that they had to pay extra to get them shipped overnight. I said what do you mean we are on the road to a completion with no uniform or hair bows. Me being new to this to me this sounds like Unorganized or don’t care. Here we are going across Huntsville at 8:00 on Saturday night to another hotel to pick up a uniform. Then got hair bows on Sunday around 12:00 they take the stage at 2:00. The children got on stage only to find out the music was on instructors phone and had to come back off to work that out .May not know what a Zip drive is that was only phone I saw trying to play music off while I was there. Then instructor acts like nothing was wrong nothing was her fault . When I read reviews this looks like an on going problem. I just thought some other grandparents might want to know this. By the way forgot to mention when ask about problems the child gets kicked off team. All of what I have said is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts. Michael jones

When we moved from out of state my daughter really wanted to get back into gymnastics. We love supporting small businesses and this place has quickly felt like where we belonged. The kids are amazing people, the moms are great and the coaches have taught her so much in a short period of time. Highly recommend!
