I wish I could give it 0 stars. I stopped by to go in. They are supposed to be open. The website says they are open. But, the door is locked and the woman came to door and opened and said they aren’t open yet. Get it together people

Staff is normally very sweet. The girl behind the counter called me 40 as I was leaving. Normally it wouldn't matter but the staff is usually more respectful.

I just left my stuff and I'll stop somewhere else. I stood in front the register patiently for several minutes because the woman behind the counter seemed to be doing something with merchandise. After a bit I notice she is standing to the side on her phone while another customer is saying she needs help on the self check out. I help that lady finish checking out, still nothing from the woman that worked there. I gave up and just left

This place is awful. There was a lady on the phone doing not a thing laughing and giggling while walking around and another lady outside smoking. I waited over 5 minutes for someone to come help me at self checkout and turned out nobody was in the store the whole time. Me and two other people behind me was waiting for me to receive help. The lady behind me mentioned that I needed help on the register but she just said to the lady that she couldn't do it. The lady outside could've been gotten to help me but she decided to stay smoking her cigarette for 5 minutes. It doesn't take that long to smoke a cigarette. They need a new team of people.

Store was very cluttered upon entry. Items apparently are not in the correct place as I attempted to purchase a candy bar for $1.75, supposed to be $.1.95. The very rude cashier began arguing with me & said that it clearly stated it was a different candy bar. Sorry girlie, we don't all have 20/20 vision out here ? I just know that when I worked in retail the item was supposed to be sold as marked. I mentioned this to her & asked her to charge $1.75 or remove it from my purchases, & she decided to just take it off with a smart comment ? Good job Dollar General hiring people not concerned with your sales or customer service ??????

Talk to your buddies off the clock, idiots. The workers here will hold up traffic to catch up with their own while in the parking lot. With how busy it was, maybe you should be on a register.

they don’t “update” prices on their machines. I went to get some food for my toddler. Everything I saw had price tags of 1-3 dollars. went up to the register n everything was 4-7 dollars. the worker told me that the machines don’t process price change til the next few days. went a week later n the same thing happened again (I got the same products as last time) . but this time I’m getting extra charges on my card.

I went in today to shop for some dinner and found some DiGiorno pizzas that were sitting in a spot that was marked for $2. Thinking it was a good deal I picked up one and brought it to the counter with my other items and found out it wasn't the correct price. After telling the associate where I had found it, she confirmed them to be in the wrong spot and I had asked if she could honor that since they were put in the wrong spot and she rejected and asked if I wanted to pay the full price for it. I had declined and just paid for my stuff that I had but it left a sore spot on me that they couldn't honor something that was a mistake on their part.

Never have what you need. The little cash register always on her phone instead of doing her job. She stopped ringing me up to text on her phone and was very uncurious. I hate driving 5 miles to get nothing.

When opening hours say 8 am it’s considerate to make sure you are open at that time… stopped by there on a Saturday at 840 am.. store sill closed and 8 other customers waiting as well … this was the dollar general at highwater in Soddy Daisy

Went to this location on Saturday June eleventh, store was a wreck, couldn't move through isles, boxes, dirt and garbage everywhere, one cashier, manager payed no mind to the eight customers in one line, didn't help get customers out of the store, nor did she acknowledge anyone or anything going on, cashier stood and talked and talked and was slower than Christmas, I want to knowWho manages this location as I come here a lot and so does my mother, because this store runs as if they don't have any mangement, I would give zero stars but that isn't possible, I always have an issue at this location

Visit this location pretty often and the customer service has really gone downhill. At my most recent visit, the cashier couldn't be bothered to speak to me, stopped scanning my items so she could read a text on her phone, then walked away from the register completely while I was still gathering my items (and didn't bother to tell me my total). Not sure her name, but she could use a class in manners and professionalism.
