12/28/2023I had called Autozone in Soddy Daisy to have someone jump my car off at the KFC because my battery died (2 minutes away). And the guy that came tried to use his portable battery charger but it wasn’t able and because he was in his personal car, he didn’t want to risk ruining his own battery so he left us there with no help at all, just left us stranded there! And it was chilly outside and I had a baby in the car. Thank goodness a nice stranger stopped by and helped jump us off. But he made himself and Autozone look really bad for the lack of help.

The store itself is fine however the "manager" Ashley H is less than pleasant. Every time I've been in there while she is on shift she smells of alcohol, seems to be intoxicated and on several occasions I've seen her behind the building drinking beer by the dumpster with her work shirt on. Just very unprofessional in my honest opinion.

These days it's hard to find good customer service. I have low expectations because it's so rare anymore. Robert didn't disappoint. Wow! Great young man who has good things in his future if he keeps a good head on his shoulders, and actively seeks to better his skills. I'm so impressed with his level of personable skills, his can-do-it attitude, and aptitude. Just a really great young man. Thank you Robert!

That nice young man Robert, despite all the heat going around, did not refuse to change my battery. In fact he was quite quick with it and I wasn't standing outside that long. He was quick and efficient and so polite.

Needed new battery, the sales person Robert so helpful, in installing the new battery. He has been here a couple of years from California with a friendly and good customer service skills. I hope we keep him here.
