I try my best to avoid this Walmart. I ran in Sunday just to get a few items while I was there I purchased a money order. Well attempted to purchase one… The first attempt went through but the worker said it was something going on with the money order machine so he call I’m assuming a team lead and supervisor. They cancelled the transaction and the money went immediately back to my card. He said let’s try it again same thing happened and he called the supervisor back over. So he said let’s move it to another register. Never once cancelled out the second time I swiped my card so the funds was pulled already. So the other agent wanted me to slide my card again but like I explained to her and showed my bank statement. The funds never did return to my account from the second attempt. The supervisor basically blew it off and said you’ll get it back in a hour…. I replied, “ an hour?” She said or a day or two… Here it is Tuesday the transactions has been processed and shows that it went through. I NEED MY MONEY or MY MONEY ORDERS NOW!

DO NOT BUY A GIFT CARD FROM THE SMYRNA WALMART. They are not secure and Walmart will keep any money they are able to recover. I purchased several gift cards as gifts and for fuel on a road trip (I'm a Sams Club member and FORMERLY bought all my gas at Walmart and Sams). I stopped for gas before my trip using one of the cards and it said Balance $0.00, pulled out a 2nd card and same thing. I checked the balance on the cards I bought for my kids and they had been drained also. I went to to the store where I bought the cards and they said this was NOT uncommon and I would have to call the fraud number. Around $200 had been spent online that morning and the lady on the phone WAS ABLE TO STOP THE ORDER from going through somewhere in New Hampshire but the rest had already been spent and delivered online. These cards were bought at Smyrna Walmart on different days in different transactions using different payment methods, but they all got compromised, around $500 over 5 cards in all. I did everything right. The cards never left my possession, I made sure the last 4 numbers and pin were not scratched off before purchasing, and I never entered them online or called any numbers to check the balance until I learned the balance was $0. Walmart stopped the transaction on the online orders for $200 so scammers somehow stole $300 and Walmart stole the other $200 and denied my claim because "the other charges do not fall under the terms and conditions of a compromised gift card." The employee I spoke to in store told me this was common and most likely an inside job. If I could leave negative stars I would, but I had to leave 1 star minimum to leave a review. Billion dollar corporation stealing hard earned money from their "valued" customers is unacceptable.

Nobody goes to Walmart like it's a vacation resort or even a high end store. You go for low cost necessities, fairly wide selection of goods, and to observe diverse humans in a relatively safe place! Lol

If you're not going to have the longer self checkouts open, have more cashiers!!! You literally can't grocery shop like it is.

I try to get what I need and get out! Quick! It's just so crowded, and the lines to check out (especially self check) are ? slow! But the employees are very nice and helpful!

They allow dogs in here now and customers let them poop in the food isle and walk away. It was a chihuahua and Walmart did nothing about it. Says they are not allowed to ask if it's a service dog. Obviously it's now. Now nasty. What about people allergic?! Will never go to a Walmart again so gross! You don't see dogs in Publix!!!
