Parked at the lot. Was going to get myself icecream to have while I shopped at the store. Before I passed onto the icecream shop next door, I was hounded down by who I assume to be the owner of the pawn shop. Old guy with long hair- yelled at me and told me I couldnt park there. I told him I was going to go shop next door. He said he didnt care. Parking lot is always empty. Thats because he has a shitty way of handling business. Small minded people dont get anywhere. He will not be having my business.

Look! The couple in the shop are adorable! They’re fair, kind & I like them a lot. I read the reviews before going & saw everyone crying about not being able to park in their parking lot unless they’re a customer, when there’s a TON of parking across from the shop for other businesses. Go see for yourself, they’re so sweet & have great stuff in their shop! They make great deals on buying and selling!

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to help me thoroughly. They have a fantastic selection of items at great prices, from electronics to jewelry, and I found exactly what I was looking for.

My wife and I decided to support some local business (Smyrna). I parked in a parking lot beside this business that is posted that parking is for their business only. As we were walking up to the establishment, my wife decided she would get some ice cream at the shop next door while I went into the pawn shop. As I was walking up their walk way a lady came out and yelled at me that the parking was for the pawn shop only. I said " I know and I am coming in". Then she said "We are closing anyway". The posting had stated that they closed at 2pm and it was 1:45. Her husband came out and I approached him to ask why she was so rude to me. He stated " Like the young folks say, It's all good". I have been a business owner for over 20 years and cringed at this kind of action from a local business owner that the city wants you to support (Support Local). If this is one of the staples of Smyrna I am sad to say that is no acceptable. IF YOU ARE TIRED OF SERVING THE PUBLIC SELL IT AND MOVE ON.

Went to look for particular items so we parked in their private parking lot. While my husband looked in their store I decided I wanted ice cream from the shop next door that I frequent. Before he could step to the sidewalk to enter he was yelled at that this is a private parking lot. He says yes I know I am coming into your store. The rude lady says we are closed in a very nasty tone. Mind you the sign/website states that they close at 2pm and it is currently 1:45pm. We tried to get an explanation as to why we were spoken to in such a rude manner. The husband says it’s what ever. Is this how you treat potential customers? It never ceases to amaze me how some business owners treat people. Karma is around the corner.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!! The two folks running this establishment are so hateful and rude. They will run paying customers out of their parking lot even after shopping with them for years. Do not trust these people. They will chase you down to your car if you try to go next door and get coffee after shopping with them! Save yourself the trouble and go to murfreesboro!

Went in to buy GOLD and was not even greeted, left the store went to CHECK if the coffee shop was open next door and the owner came RUNNING out and yelled across the street to move our car. I understand having a parking lot with signs, but we were in store. Not a SINGLE car or person was in the parking lot or trying to come in. We didn’t even go into the coffee shop because it wasn’t open.100% do not recommend this place, very very rude.

Was planning on buying my husband a new gun but wanted to grab a scoop of ice cream first. A woman came out of the pawn shop and was incredibly rude about not parking in their private parking lot. She did not even give us time to say we were going to be shopping there! She obviously has never heard of hospitality! Will take my $1k for his gun elsewhere!

A great pawn shop with lots of treasures. I’m a treasure hunter and love to look and see what they have. The owners are very nice and will go out of their way to help you. Just like any business…..treat them with respect and they will go above and beyond to help you. Mike has gone out of his way many times to come to my house to break lugs loose on my truck or loan me tools when I need them and not ask for anything in return. As far as their parking lot….they own the lot and reserve it for their customers. If I owned the lot I would reserve those spots for my business also. There are plenty of No Parking signs posted that clearly state that the parking is for pawn shop customers. If you choose to park there anyway, well then don’t be surprised if you get told to move your vehicle. There is plenty of parking available for other businesses on Front Street. If you need to pawn something don’t expect them to give you full value for the item. It’s a pawn shop. Every pawn shop is the same. I recommend them and it’s definitely worth going to see them. Remember respect is met with respect

Extremely rude old lady it’s like she watches you through the window to make sure no one parks in their empty lot we were going to grab ice cream next door then walk around and browse for a drill well didn’t happen and I wouldn’t go in there at all now!

Extremely rude lady. I completely understand not wanting people to park in your parking lot but to come out screaming at a minor or anyone is pathetic behavior. Yelling how you can't stand stupid people or the people living here is uncalled for. She did not even give anyone a chance to walk in her store without coming out yelling and making a scene. Immediately left.

I love shopping at Smyrna Pawn & Gun. Mike and Cindy have not only been great to deal with—but great folks as well. I often do my Christmas shopping there as well.

Don’t bother with this place. He acted like a total j*** when we parked in his EMPTY lot. I was going to stop in and give them business, but I’ll never set foot in there.
