Phenomenal church. Very large, but very small town feel. Love seeing how they actively go out and help people around the world by leading by example.

Great church, I would highly recommend it if you like bigger churches. However, if you don't like bigger services then I would not recommend.

My first time to attend the service today I just love everything about it. The preaching was powerful. My favorite part is the worship. I really felt the presence of God glory to Jesus.

It's a good place to be if you're looking to become a member of a plastic Christian club, led by a pastor who enjoys ridiculing other religions and collecting tithing. We went a few times, and I tried to enjoy it for my wife's sake, but the pastor made several offensive remarks about other religions that were really just immature and shouldn't represent what a loving, tolerant Christian should be. If you don't believe a particular viewpoint, that's one thing, when you incorporate making fun of them as part of your sermon, that's just not being a good person. There seems to be a lot of pressure associated with giving them as much of your money as they can get you to part with also. These are the parts of Christianity that give the whole religion a particular stereotype... and not a good one.

My dad is the worship pastor at this church and he and the band are amazing at lifting up the name of Jesus. I have attended this church for eleven years.....NO COMPLAINTS !!!!

Was a first time visitor and everyone was really nice. I liked that they support local ministries and offer so much for the congregation. However things went down hill when the pastor from Stewart Creek's campus preached (main pastor is out of town) . When speaking about the fall (and eventually repentance) of David, the pastor likened spanking his children to the discipline of God saying: its better they experience the pain now rather than later in life.We were excited to see a church with a robust children's ministry, but a statement like that from the pastor raises many red flags. If you can get past the endorsement of spanking as a way of instilling obedience in children, then there is a lot here on offer. But if you have strong opinions about corporal punishment for children, then look elsewhere.

This church denied our baby to be part of the child dedication because we aren’t MEMBERS. Unbelievable they can’t pray for a baby because I’m not a member. I believe in God, I believe in the bible and I’m baptized but that’s why I don’t want to be part of a church for things like this. I’m pretty sure God will never approve a rule like this. I went to this church before with a friend who invited me for some church activities and was nice but I wasn’t sure if this is our church. Now I’m convinced that this is more like a club membership than a church. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

I have been looking for awhile for a church home in or around Smyrna. I've been attending Life Point Church in Smyrna now for about a year now off/on. I love the Pastor Pat....he doesn't really "sugar coat" his sermons and speaks from his heart/soul. I am sure he has stepped on some toes, but then again they probably needed it! I look forward to his sermons and the way he describes txt from the bible in a layman's terms. I like that. Think I have found a home! Everyone I have met here is genuinely friendly. Benny, also a Pastor here has really helped me a lot through some rough times last year with a major surgery and PTSD issues. Not only coming to the hospital but my home several times and spent time with me when I really needed it. If you are looking for a place to call your church home....I HIGHLY recommend Life Point in Smyrna!I live in Smyrna, TN...don't know why it shows CA!
