My son and I take guitar lessons with Moose here and we couldn't be happier. With us Moose started us playing music first and learning music theory as we go. We came here just wanted to learn to play music for fun but I think we both are surprised at how quickly we have came along. Moose not only is teaching us about playing music but also the care of our guitars. In the photo he is showing my son how to change the strings on his guitar. Not having a background in music we appreciate the approach here. We definitely would recommend this shop.

These folks are great! They have been so patient with my kid learning Mandolin. We've bought instruments and taken lessons here.

I was picking out a sheet music book for my boyfriend, he plays piano, and the employees were very rude, didn't answer my questions, and stared at me so hard the entire time I felt like a hole was being burned into the back of my head. I did not feel welcomed in and I probably won't come here again. Otherwise, very nice music store.

I mistakenly showed up 20 minutes past closing time while the owner was training his new employee on how to close down the store. He kindly allowed me in to buy my bottle of lemon oil, and offered knowledge on its usage for my specific guitar. After the transaction, he told me to have a great night and referred to me by my first name, which I had told him a full 20 minutes ago. People rarely make the effort to remember a name like that. I will be coming back!

Worst customer service, I went in to buy a drum head for a busted snare. The young lady pointed at the wall where they were located, I asked if I could open to make sure it was the correct replacement she smiled and replied "I don't know" She needs to be trained!

I have the unique opportunity of having a view of this business not only as a customer (which I have been most recently), but as an employee as well, going back some 10 plus years ago. Back then, I was just a novice guitarist and sometimes vocalist (with some banging on the piano that we won't go into detail on for added flavor). I was welcomed to the staff and had the pleasure of truly learning the ins and outs of a number of musical instruments, and a greater appreciation for music as a whole. Fast forward these many years and many miles later, and I return from 10 years living in Florida, playing gigs beyond count, crowds up to 2k people, recording, writing, and performing almost non stop... And I was pleased to pop in one day to grab some strings, only to find Fletcher himself, still in his office, talking to me as if I had just left yesterday. Almost all of us from the staff those days have gone on to other paths in life, but I've learned, nothing can replace the feel of a small town, family owned business. What Mr Fletcher and Co bring to the table can't be bought at Guitar Center, on Wish or Amazon, and can't be found at Walmart. It's a sense of community, family, and people who genuinely love music and love sharing and teaching it to another person, regardless of age or skill set. You can't put a price on that. So while you may think you can get a better deal somewhere else, you'll get one thing there you can't get online: the sense of being part of a family, a community, and a continued tradition of a passion for music. Thanks for everything guys. Keep rocking.

It's been quite some time since my son has been able to play his little plastic guitar in tune, and the strings suggested to me here allow the "toy" to sound better than it ever has before.Although less equipped than most musical instrument stores (this place is more for lessons anyway), the quality and price of the offerings more than make up for it. Once the amazing service and advice is added in, this will definitely be a store I will visit again.

I took my Les Paul in to have new pickups installed and to get it set up. It will play fantastic after that.

My kid decided he wanted to learn how to play the guitar so I reached out for details about their music lessons. Moose was extremely helpful in getting a time slot that worked nailed down. When we showed up to sign the paperwork and get my son (elementary school aged) a guitar, Moose helped pick one that works for him, showed him some basics, helped him get the hang of holding and strumming. We haven't started the actual lessons yet but based on how great our interactions so far has been I have complete faith this is going to continue to be a great experience. I'll try to remember to update once we have a few sessions under our belt. You're awesome, Moose!
