I made a reservation for a tentative school trip in which I had very short notice to secure accomodations. The cancellation deadline was noted & when the trip for our group ended up being cancelled, I attempted to cancel the reservation. I called the number several times and by the time someone finally answered the phone, it was 14 minutes past the deadline and they would not cancel the reservation. He refused to talk to me and instead referred me to the corporate customer service number. The only option I was offered by the customer service rep was to keep the rooms on hold and they would be considered a "no show" after no one arrived to check in and i would be charged for the first nights stay. The manager, Sam, proceeded to call me for the next 2 days demanding to know "how I was paying for these rooms?" and "if i was coming or not?" Each time I tried explaining to him that I was not coming, but wasn't allowed to cancel the rooms to which he yelled at me that "I was trying to tell him how to run his hotel and how he ran his hotel was his business not mine" and then he would hang up on me. He accused me of calling the corporate office and filing a complaint on him (which was the number he gave me to call when he refused to talk to me when I originally called to cancel). If he had just cancelled the rooms, there was another school group looking for additional accommodations for their students and families and he could have been fully booked for the week. I have never been harassed by a business in this manner! Based on other online reviews, the lack of attendance at the desk and extreme rudeness is a common theme for Sam, as well as other questionable business practices. (Rebooking reservations at higher prices, removing loyalty program numbers from reservations, false advertisements on hotel cleanliness and amenities, etc). It's awfully convenient that no one answers the phone just prior to cancellation deadlines. After reading other reviews recently posted online about this establishment, I would have been mortified to have brought our student group here for a stay. I will never be a Choice Hotels customer again.Noteworthy details: Horrible customer service, rude employees, harrassment

Most comfortable beds I have slept on in a hotel. I don't know why the rooms need to be so dark.

We booked three rooms for our kids who were coming for an event. We booked the rooms through Choice using points. When our kids arrived the hotel would not accept the rooms and required payment by card. That is very deceptive, and it makes me wonder what else they would do. We are now fighting with choice to get this resolved. The kids stayed and said the service was horrible, the person running the front desk was also the cook for the breakfast which was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many more that are much better and not deceptive like this place.

I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones. However, I called this location today at 11:58am to inquire about booking their conference/meeting room and creating a room block for an event. He hung up on me twice. The first call was 1 min and 1 sec. The second time I called back and asked why he hung up. His response was "We're too busy here ma'am." This call was only 15 secs. Thankfully, I'm not a local...If this is how Comfort Suites does business and treats their guests and/or potential patrons, I'll never be staying at one. I'll stick to my normal chains/brands.**Avoid this location at all costs. There are SEVERAL other hotel options in the area that'll appreciate your hard earned money.**

Very clean and fresh; room had a sitting area, a fridge and comfortable beds. There is a full hot breakfast and very friendly staff... good price for what we got.

Room was ok, furniture upholstery could have been fresher. Front desk person was rude, acted like we were bothering him when we asked a question. I wouldn't recommend the hotel because of him. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that probably have a more pleasant front desk clerk.Noteworthy details: Rude front desk clerk

This place was very dirty I've got pictures and videos of how my towels were laying on dusty shells me my fingers turned white whenever I hit the shelves there was trash like a Aquafina bottle and a pain roller medicine up underneath the tables and air conditioner there was black dirt on the air conditioner the man at the front desk was very short with me whenever I asked him questions yesterday I have been dealing with a whole lot with my family so I have been coming into town so that I can rest and actually sleep I'm not the one to sit around and complain I've cleaned houses for the past 15 years and I'm telling you what these girls are men who ever clean this room they just come in and change the better and leave literally that's it I have contacted choice hotels I'm gonna go downstairs and speak to the hotel lobbyist manager whatever and I just hope that 2 ever's playing in this stuff does it better because people come in here looking for a way to relax you can't relax when something's so nastyRooms: I've got pictures of the trash that I found on the floor I got videos that show where the floor has not been vacuumed at all because there was dirty fingernails on both sides of the bed in the bathroom the towels were sitting on very dusty shelves there is like stuff all over the bedding little hairs it looks like some might throw up on the thing that covers the bottom of the bed I mean these are very noteworthy and I've got pictures and video and I will be glad to send it just give me a linkNoteworthy details: If you're looking for something clean do not come to this motel office Sam ridelete I've got plenty of pictures and videos I would love to put them out there so everybody can see

The worst experience ever at a hotel. DO NOT BOOK A STAY THIS LOCATION!!!!! They do unauthorized card charges. The customer service is TERRIBLE. The front desk person won’t let you speak to a manager.

Hello Everyone,The breakfast staff has awesome work ethic and have exceptional social skills. The room cleaning team led by Anna is very good. The only downfall is with the owner, Sam, and he clearly lacks social skills. He does work a lot of hours. He was curt with customers of all types. He will price gouge for profits at any time. If you choose this hotel please utilize Priceline and get a substantial discount.StevenMBA University of Texas.Rooms: Very good value via Priceline.

Sam the man who works the desk isn’t very friendly. The place just gives me a bad feeling. My company booked 4 nights there and we will not be returning again.

I made the reservation through the choice app it always runs out so the man at the reception was very pedantic minutes later that person canceled my reservation I never get to that place again that's why it always stays empty
