This was an absolutely beautiful experience.The river was so scenic and awesome. The family at Caney Fork Rentals took care of absolutely everything: great kayaks, transportation, a store with bait and last minute items, etc. It is a must do. Highly recommended.

Every year we kayak down the Caney. We rely on this team to get us in the water and pick us up afterwards. They're on top of when the dam is generating and put safety before profit. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience with my 2 boys. We had so much fun the first day we went back the next day. We went down the Caney last year because we saw the billboards for a competitor. The other company goes out of the way to bash this business, it really is pathetic. If you want to have a better feel for this area go with Caney Fork River Rentals. The owners have been in the area for generations and will give you great history lessons, if you seem interested, on the shuttle over. The other guys seem way too touristy and overcharge for their “fees and service”. All the locals go with Caney Fork River Rentals for a reason. Pick this company and ask for the REAL story behind the self proclaimed Pirate of the Caney… the name is fitting.

This is the second time trying to kayak during office hours and we were told we “showed up too late @10am” or “the river is moving too fast” when they let other people kayak before us. The lady was so rude and just doesn’t want business. Don’t go by their business hours online because it’s not true.

We’ve rented from this place multiple times! Staff is always friendly. The shuttle service is always prompt and efficient for getting you on and off the water. The little corner store has the best food and friendly service. I highly recommend renting from them.

AMAZING! The owners were great to work with. We changed from a canoe to a kayak when we got there and they were right on it. Check in is quick! You aren’t far from where you are put in and about a mile or so back from where you are picked up. I have always used a different rental company but I will definitely switch to Caney Fork River Rentals from now on. Thank you CFRR! Keep up the good customer service and work!

This place and the people here are amazing. The most friendly and helpful staff I’ve ever encountered. I brought my family here to Kayak the Caney. My Sister in Law is handicapped, and they not only upgraded her to a larger kayak that was easier and more comfortable for her, but provided constant help and attention throughout. They have definitely won me and my family as customers and I will be visiting here every chance I get and will purchase all of my kayaks and gear from them as well!

Our rental experience was great! It was our first time kayaking and specifically kayak fishing. The staff answered all of our questions. Offered up a lot of good info on the trip, including what to do with the dam generation. Family owned and operated. Would definitely choose over other companies due to level of service.Easy process with the shuttle and timing of our reservation was seamless.

Caney Fork River Rentals was great. They were so helpful with making sure we rented the right kayak for each family member. The whole experience was easy from start to finish, and we loved that it was family owned and operated. It was a beautiful and relaxing trip, we will definitely be going back.

On Sunday 5/29/2022 I took my family of 5 on the 6 mile canoe trip of the Caney River and had a great time. The owner of the store was very helpful explaining the trip and telling us exactly what to be on the lookout for. The driver was very polite and got us to our drop off on time and was there to pick us up once we were done as she said she would. I would definitely make this trip again and will recommend friends and family to canoe the Caney. Thanks for a great time.NT

The staff was very friendly and was very helpful to our needs!! We had a blast. I especially enjoyed the fact that they put us on the water and picked us up very organized a quick! Thank you so much for a wonderful time Caney Fork!!!!
