** Warning ** do NOT use this bank! The customer service is horrible at best! Even the manager was disrespectful to me! They refused to cash a government issued check. They do NOT care about their customers! I work in Real estate and I can promise you I would never let any of my customers use this bank because of the stress they caused me.

This is the only bank I have ever dealt with that charges $32.00 to stop payment on a check. We have over $100,000 in here. Taking it out today. Stay away from here. They didn't like their customers

Im in the army and this bank knew i was getting sent over seas and the fact that my debit card was about ti exspire and they still didnt send me one until my adopted mom went up to them. Then they lost my new debit card and tried to make me pay for it.. anyways im stuck in korea with no debit card. Worst bank ever

The staff is always very nice. The accounts are free, which is the reason we chose Tennessee State Bank. However, with the free accounts, you're losing quite a bit. If you have a problem after business hours or on the weekend, you're just plain out of luck. They still are not using/providing EMV cards. Again everyone is very nice, which is great - but if you have a problem and are unable to contact anyone outside of normal business hours, niceties only go so far. The last time that I had a problem on a weekend and was unable to reach anyone for 2-3 days I almost changed banks, but opted against it because everything was resolved by that Tuesday. This time, I realize the only true resolution is to find a financial institution that has some sort of 24/7 support.
