I had a wheel bearing fail on my truck on a Friday night, I was from out of town and trying to find someone that would work on my truck over the weekend so we could get back home on Sunday. Fortunately, someone pointed me in Shannons direction. He came in on his off day and got my fixed. The guy is top-notch. We frequent that area during camping season, and if something goes wrong again, he will be the first person I reach out to.

SPECTACULAR! Shannon and his team saved the day for us!On day 1, while traveling from the Delaware to Arizona, our rig (2022 Class A Diesel Pusher) gave us a Park Brake Not Set visual warning with an incessant audible bell (the brake did actually set, but still, the warning). We pulled into our RV Park at 9pm on Sunday of the long Martin Luther King weekend. It was 30 degrees, and snow had just begun to fall from the huge storm that was to last 2 days and cover half of the U.S. Because of the parking brake warning, we could neither drop our leveling jacks nor extend our slides. Further, because the audible warning was continuous while power was on the rig, we had to disconnect the chassis batteries to silence it, thereby losing all control of the electronic visors, door lock, etc. After multiple fruitless calls throughout the day and evening to Freightliner, and vain attempts to troubleshoot the problem myself at night in the cold and snow, I accepted the fact that we were going to finish this cross-country trip with the slides closed, climbing over the furniture.The next day (the holiday!), I was referred to Shannon's Twisted Steel. Shannon and his son came out SAME DAY in what now was 32 degrees and moderate wet snow. They found and fixed the problem, got our rig operating properly again, all for a very reasonable price, and did so with the utmost professionalism and friendly demeanor any customer could ask for. Their knowledge of Freightliner systems (and RVs in general) is second to none, and I cannot give them enough stars to show my appreciation for their hard work and commitment to their customers.The Knoxville area is BLESSED to have this company within it's city limits! Thank you SO much for your help!!!

Being a roadside assistance company in the busy Smoky Mountain area can get real busy. I'm grateful that no matter the hour or day, I can count on Shannon's Twisted Steel Garage for about anything. I encourage my customers to call him as I can't handle all the volume of calls. They get all 5 stars from me.

Not sure how their work is, we kind of got a run around on getting or RV fixed. They kept telling us the part was ordered and being shipped, but couldn’t/wouldn’t give us a tracking number. After 6 days of waiting, 2 days were the weekend and we call to order the part on a Thursday, by the following Thursday nothing. It’s a real good possibility they do good work, but…
