Sadly I have needed the help before with needing food for my family during hard times. Not something I like to tell everyone. Normally I would leave there feeling good about the fact that there are people out there that care to help but today was different. I literally left there crying because of how I was treated. I understand there are guidelines to go by but this isn't my first time there and all I did was ask for help. There were two ladies there that were very snappy toward me and I understood they couldn't find me in the system and I explained that my name is now different from the last time I was there due to getting married. I expected them to know what to from there but instead treated me as if they couldn't help the fact they couldn't help me. So I asked what is the difference in me asking for help and someone new because I didn't know what they were wanting me to say or do. They both had attitudes right away and putting there hands up and getting loud with me as if I were trying to make a scene. I just wanted to know what do I do now in order to get help. My ID was given back harshly and it slid off the table onto the ground. She then slammed a piece of paper on the table and said here fill this out so I did. So then she starts bringing food out to me which I am grateful I got the help. I truly am but she kept an attitude the rest of the time and I felt like a bother to even ask a question there on. I left there very upset and honestly don't want to go back there again. I shouldn't be afraid or feel like I can't ask for help. I mean that is what they are there for right? Supposed to be a helpful community?

My step mom went up there to get food she has been there before and they was very rude!!!!! She asked help with food and the lady was very hateful and kept saying your not in our system and the lady says give me your ID so my step mom does and the lady kept saying we can’t find your name then my step mom says isn’t it any different from new people coming here and the lady says stop getting an ATTITUDE!!! The lady THROWS my step moms ID and tells her to fill out the paper and SLAMS the paper on the table saying don’t get an ATTITUDE!!!! She gets the food and THE LADY SLAMMS THE DOOR IN HER FACE!!!!….. I thought this was supposed to be a helpful and kind place for people to go too.
