“This teller saw me price checking many items. I was picking up for elder. I was going to car to get more money from elder, the SWEET cashier offered 5.00 out of her own purse. I tried to decline many times. She insisted. Instead of owing 11.00, after her 5.00, elder only owed 6.00. That was SO kind, thoughtful, considerate and refreshing. She was young and I think she deserves a raise!”

“This location offers self check out and is well ran with plenty of attractive staff. Pop shelf offers more holiday decor as well as home goods, frozen food and produce than other locations. We call this the "Good Dollar General" ha ha. There is a Dollar General within walking distance (also on Lebanon Road, Next to Post Office) but is often out of items that we prefer to buy from DG. Although the post office location fired all of the staff and remodeled they just don't seem to be able to get it together. Its alot better than it was, at least they are usually open during hours of operation while they were unpredictably closed at any given time. They are often out of milk and other stables. I guess thats a popular location... its unreliable. Go to the Pop Shelf local its worth the extra mile drive.”

“#1 Go to Bargain Hunt with your shopping list. #2 But if it's a really great deal get it while you can. #3 Be prepared to abandon your favorite brands for equal or better quality. #4 Watch your time because there's so much to check out from household stuff to hardware, personal care to shelf steady groceries that you could be there all day. #5 Be prepared for sticker shock on so many great deals.”

“I love this store and can't wait to visit the Murfreesboro location! The Smyrna and Mt Juliet locations are great, have kind and helpful staff, and a great variety of items at good prices! I highly recommend visiting this store if you are in the area.”

“I really like this store. I didn't give it 5 stars because there was an associate working there both times that I've been there lately. She was rude and acted as if the question I asked was stupid and helping me with something was beneath her. Otherwise, everything was great. I have bought several boxes of Pampers diapers and wipes there at great prices! Cheaper than Walmart, Target and Amazon. I enjoy going and walking around looking to see what I might find. Most all the other associates working there are awesome, just not the one. Looking forward to going back soon!!!!!”

“I recently purchased an “open box” electronic from The Yard Sale. Upon returning home and opening the re-sealed box, I realized the device wreaked of cigarettes and a component was not working. I contacted the store via Messenger and within an hour did they not only offer to make the situation right with a couple options to choose from, but it was completely resolved. Situations like this will happen and it is what it is, but how the business handles the issue is most important. I will definitely continue to shop here due to the integrity of the owner.”

“I like going in Big Lots because they have stuff you don’t see in regular stores and their prices are super reasonable. They also offer Progressive Leasing which is really cool if you need furniture items and don’t want to/ or can’t pay the full amount upfront. As long as you pay it off in 90 days, you can avoid paying interest.”

“It's an ok place. They have stuff I need and don't need. They carry food, brand name and off the wall brands. Please check expectation dated on all food. I've been in several (like 6) and find expired food and no I'm not seeking it out. I'll keep going back.”

“I've learned what a staple to this community Just a Dollar, and it's owner really are. Locals tell me of the trinkets he (Mr. A) would sell for a dollar many years ago. The demand and requests for common essential and not-so-essential items called for Mr. A to change philosophy and serve the requests of the community. He's kept the name Just-A-Dollar, but delivered what we desired. I've witnessed his determination to keep product on hand at the lowest cost. Brands don't seem as important cost and I am one to appreciate the savings.”

“I do miss the Starbucks that I called my go-to cafe while in Nashville. It was in a plaza. Across from it was both a Ruby Tuesday restaurant and this Dollar Tree. The best part about being in Nashville was that one business led me to visit others nearby. It was definitely the case here. After stuffing myself silly with a late lunch at Ruby Tuesday, I waddled over to Dollar Tree to work off my meal. I'm glad that I could, as this store had nice air conditioning.I was here to get an auxiliary cable. To make a long story short, I used to carry one in my travels when I had an iPod. Since most portable speakers connect to devices these days through bluetooth, I dropped carrying one.Well, guess what? I bought a Grogu speaker that dances to whatever music that you play, but it uses an aux cable. Really? Ugh!Thank goodness this Dollar Tree came to the rescue. Not only did it have aux cables, but they came in pretty colours. I got a purple one. It is likely the fanciest one that I have ever owned and it's from a dollar store. While in the phone accessories section, I saw a cute duck screen cleaner. It was like a small finger puppet, but it works well and I now have it in my purse at all times.I dropped by two days before the 4th of July. I remember all the patriotic items. I saw a festive gnome scarf. I thought it would be nice to watch the fireworks with it dubbing as my hairband and got it. For $1.25, it was a steal. I also like gnomes.I find practical, fun items at Dollar Tree. I also needed a case for a pair of sunglasses that I had purchased a few days before coming here. I got a cheerful pink ones with hearts. It was perfect and protected my sunglasses when they came over the border with me.The snacks section is deadly and cool. I've never seen Starburst jello before. Rib-flavoured chips caught my attention, as did the assortment of pork rinds.Cookies stand out at this store. You can get single packages of Milano cookies. If you don't want a regular package of them, you can opt for the smaller, single versions. I saw something similar with Oreo cookies. It's perfect, especially when you are travelling and don't want to haul an entire package with you. There is a frozen foods section at the back. I salivated over the breakfast sandwiches. I didn't get any because the hotel offered excellent hot ones, but the breakfast items looked yummy. The man who cashed me out was great. He was friendly and seemed to enjoy chatting with folks. I paid with a credit card and all was great. I thanked him and took my goodies with me.I tried my aux cable at the hotel. Both it and my Grogu speaker functioned well. This cable is now permanently a part of my cable collection whenever I travel.I parked under a tree so that I wasn't burning when I got into my car. It became a habit of mine while in Nashville. It works nicely.(256)”

“All the staff are friendly. Well stocked. Hoping it doesn't end up like some of the other stores in the area where they're just trashy. Keep up the good work staff at Nonaville Rd DG.”

“I just stopped in for a few basic items and witnessed a karen giving the manager a hard time about the lack of a return policy. (No returns or credits, exchanges only) The manager was calm the whole time and was very patient with karen. I was tired of hearing karen repeat herself as if the policy was going to magically change. I kindly told her that was the real policy and has been for a long time. Karen continued repeating herself like a broken record player. Karen was wearing a lavender sweater and took up a large amount of space. (I really would love it if karen reads this one day, shame on you). Karen was blocking the entire check out lane as a cashier scanned my items. Near the end of my purchase, I spoke up to karen again, and told her the policy wasn’t going to change. Karen yelled at me about how she was a customer and it wasn’t my business. I corrected her (because Karens have to keep the act up when they’re obviously wrong; they won’t admit their fault) and told her it was my business since she was blocking my ability to pay. She yelled that it wasn’t even time for me to pay as the cashier scanned my last items. By the time she finished that sentence, the cashier had nothing left to scan. Karen did waddle her butt out of the way, but continued to repeat the same act after I left.Karens, Walmart is next door. They have a return policy. Dollar Tree is not for Karens. Actually, no store is for Karens. Shout out to the manager and cashier for being polite to karen.Next time though, an employee should be the one telling non-purchasing Karens to move out of the way so real customers can pay. -1 star for that and other issues I’ve experienced with this location. I should have been treated with the same courtesy that yucky karen received by the manager as well.”

“Sandy deserves 10 stars, not just 5. Hard to find good customer service these days and Sandy went above and beyond to make me feel like a friend not just a customer. You can tell she takes pride in her job. She made sure every customer found what they needed and that we had a good experience while we shopped. She went the extra mile to make sure every customer had a smile on their face.THANK YOU SANDY for being so kind and showing top of the line customer service!”

“I drove over to a plaza where there was a Kohl's to shop. I noticed this Dollar Tree next door. I wanted to check it out and I did. I ended up parking in front of the midpoint of both stores. I then walked over to Dollar Tree. There is a ton of parking in this plaza. Since it was a couple of days since I had arrived in Nashville, I was already thinking about doing laundry. I find that Dollar Tree has the best laundry supplies rather than shelling out for them at any hotel. I ended up getting a small box of Gain scent enhancers and a small bottle of Gain liquid laundry detergent. I am normally not matchy-matchy with these items, but it was kind of funny that it happened. This store had cute, small Disney plushies. I looked at them fondly such that a woman felt like she needed to take a look. She was not as enamoured with them as I was. This store has a decent assortment of sugar-free candy. I got a package of lemon drops and a package of Werther's original. They are yummy. I brought the remainders back to Markham. The sugar-free single packet drink flavours are also great. This store has Hawaiian Punch, which was new to me in this format. I paid for my items and got a nice woman at the cashout area. I used a credit card. Tap worked fine here. We wished each other a nice day and I left with my goods. The liquid laundry detergent lasted my entire stay in Nashville. I did two loads of laundry. You don't need a whole lot of scent enhancers, so I brought what I had left back. I do love the smell of Gain. When I unpacked one of my pieces of luggage, I saw a note from Transportation Security Administration indicating that my luggage was randomly inspected. I think this inspector would have been pleased at the scent of clean laundry with scent enhancers while conducting my luggage review. Well, at least it made me happy taking a whiff. It's a good Dollar Tree. It's also deadly having two of my favourite stores side by side. (252)”

“It’s fairly well stocked most of the time. This store does seem to have an issue with employee retention but a lot of stores do these days. However, most of the rotating employees are nice and friendly. Overall, nice store”
