Lots of items, Lots of clothing for the whole family! Very polite & helpful staff! ?They also help families who need food. To take advantage of the benefit: Bring you proof of eligibility such as Food Stamp Benefit Card, Proof of Address, S.S. Card (or other proof of S. S. N. Ex: Tax or Wage Forms That Show Your S.S.N.) plus Photo I.D. You'll go thru the solid grey door on the side, go up stairs & sign in. You'll fill out paperwork (1-2 pages of front of pages only) then you'll be called into a small room to go over the paperwork & fill out 1 more form with about ½ if the same info as the initial papers. Take the small paper given to you, exit the building & go around back by an open door. This is where you'll give the small paper to a helper & where your items will be loaded... Off ya go, Enjoy!

I find my best deals here! If you find a dining set for hundreds of dollars it usually includes several pieces of furniture. The money also goes straight into the local community which is a plus.

I walked into this place and saw a table for $800. and another table for $300. For a thrift store where everything is donated your pricing is as high as a store selling brand new items... is just crazy. Then I went in doors and noticed the clothing prices. To all those that shop here find another place. Had I known things would be so expensive in this place... I would have donated elsewhere. I get your helping those in need but your selling used items to those in need that are shopping here becuz they can't afford to go elsewhere. Hint... I went to NC and found thrift stores selling at a lot less then here in town. Might want to just take the ride.

The people there are very friendly and helpful. The money does go to a good cause.A lot to choose from and all in good condition and at a fair price.Winter time all kids get a free jacket to keep them warm.Donate the things you no longer need to them instead of throwing them out, it could change someone's life and you never know, karma may change yours.

Shepherds Center is a place you go to get used clothing at good discount prices. You are allowed one free jacket each fall if needed.I would not advise the furniture though. The furniture is donated to Shepherds Center. It's too costly for someone e on a fixed budget or the elderly. You can find cheaper prices at furniture stores in Kingsport or Morristown. My jaw has hit the floor knowing that the furniture is donated but cost more than anywhere else. I thought this place was to help others. Don't get me wrong they have good clothing and household items. I'm on a fixed income and I can't afford their prices is all I'm saying. That's my opinion

This stuff is donates to them and they ask for more than what the stuff was worth when it originally sold in store brand new. I found a tiny sheet of stickers that are only one set of the alphabet (nothing fancy at all) and shepherd Center had a price of $2 on this and it originally sold at $.99. The Shepard center in rogersville is not helping the town of rogersville. The Shepard's center located in sneedville is super low dollar and they represent Christians well as being very friendly. The rogersville location people are rude and will not help anyone that is facing difficulty in situations like loss of recent job or loss of recent home. Shame on the rogersville location! Something needs to be done!
