They are closed Columbus day. And we don't have an after hours customer service live agent to speak to. Our app online check deposit sucks. There are rules and thing you have to add when trying to deposit that you won't know until you speak with someone. It's a backwards mess. They don't have a sister bank in a different city to be able to see a clerk. When you tell them to hold off the payments due to a life threatening health issue, Patty keeps calling and leaving voice mails. And will take the payment by herself from savings without permission. They, don't actually document the life threatening health issue nor the request.

I am 60+ years old and the Rogersville Branch has always been so nice and professional to me. The branch manager always stops what she is doing and helps me when I call or stop in to see her. I have been banking here for years and never had a problem. I love my credit union and I will always be with them. I highly recommend them.

Wow, I received help with my budget. The branch manager was so caring and helped me. She was understanding and helped me through a financial situation, as well as my emotional distress. Her patience and compassion overwhelmed me. Thanks so much for your concern. I now have a balanced budget, and feel so much better. I was placed in an emotional situation and with the professional guidance given. I would recommend Appalachian Credit union to anyone who needs professional guidance. Again thanks so much for you compassion and assistance.

AFCU in Rogersville has been great over the years. They are the first place I go when I need to finance something. Misty and Brian are great people and have always been friendly and professional. I have had several loans there and never had a problem. I would absolutely recommend them.

This use to be a great place to bank with. My family & I have banked here for a long time, but it’s seems management has really went downhill. I was told I had to have a title of a vehicle before I even owned it. Supposedly to finish the documents that I needed. The branch manager is the main one we really have had issues with. Such as rolling her eyes at any inconvenience & acting like she hated her job. The man and women that work the front desk are always on top of it & seem to know what they’re doing at least! That’s why I still give them 2 stars. I hate to say after banking here for so long, we’re having to switch banks.

Since the new management has been at the Rogersville, TN branch for the past few years, the quality of customer service has been trodden underfoot. We most assuredly have a point of reference because we were also at the bank with the previous management. We have seen the new manager roll her eyes and blow a very noticeable loud breath as if so aggravated that she had to answer a simple question. We’ve experienced no return calls for messages that were left, paperwork for our deed not even completed, and many problems with debit card transactions. Now, the reconstruction of the building makes no sense whatsoever….huge back deck…for what?…no teller window, just a small chute that was finally put in…the downside to the small chute is that it’s the same area as the atm. So now in order to get to the atm, you sit in line in the small area designated for others to use the chute until finally you are able to go on through to the atm. So all in all, if there was a zero star rating, that would be the one I would choos!

What in the world is with customer service. Worst people on the planet. Very rude bank with tons of fees
