My truck sat here for 2 months before it was looked at. I would call once a week to just get an idea of when they would be able to look at it. Most of the time they wouldn’t pick up the phone. The times they did answer, they said “we’ll get to it this week”
I left a couple voicemails, and never got a call back.
2 months later, I finally get my truck back after all the communication trouble and waiting. They replaced idler arm, pitman arm, control arms, reflex shocks, transmission service, brake service and differential service. I was exited pulling out of there. A week later, my steering is squeaking. I took it back there, and they said “let me grease the points because sometimes we forget” it was still squeaking after, so they told me I needed new tie rods.
I called my friend who also has a Duramax, and he said let me look at it before we order anything. He found the issue was the BRAND NEW IDLER ARM THEY INSTALLED. He greased the top grease point, and the squeaking stopped. Idk how a 5 star shop misses something like that not only once, but twice. Now I worry on the other services they did.
