We came here first week of November 2023. Water had dried up quite a bit as they're hadn't been much rain but they waterfall was still flowing. We did a beautiful hike around the side of the river. Easy hike but having hiking sticks made this trip much easier. I also stopped and made our way up to the cave. A must see if you are here. You can spend a hour to to hours here. If you go to the other side you can hike to the big gorge area. Free parking Beautiful place.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall! Easy drive, and you can see the waterfall from the parking lot. Pictures don't do it justice! Not wheelchair accessible, you have to take steps down.

Easy to access, the falls were really impressive and going around with a car was easy enough. The roads to Twin Falls were quite narrow, so keep that in mind if you're travelling with a bigger car.

Beautiful scenery, great trails and local businesses to explore. Make sure you check out Twin Falls! It does not disappoint and there are beautiful cabins for rent at Happy Yampers close by. Enjoy your stay and take time to check out downtown McMinnville!

Although the waterfalls are fabulous, the campground in the park has much to be desired! Campers and visitors speed through the small campground doing 15-20 mph even though it is well marked at 5 mph. There are children all over the place yet some drivers think they're better than everyone else and refuse to SLOW DOWN. Why can't this be policed? Then there's the obnoxious uncontrolled barking dogs. One of our neighbors left their campsite leaving their dog inside their pop-up camper. The dog barked constantly for hours on end. One of the park rangers showed up at the site only to leave several minutes later doing nothing that I could tell. How nice! So much for the peace and quiet. WAKE UP!!!!!

You will enjoy the park overall. We did have to report some bedding issues to the office. The mattress cover had some major staining from a previous guest. The Office Staff was helpful. One thing I will say is DON'T stop at the Rock Island Market (despite the name, it is NOT affiliated with the park ) that is located just outside the park. My daughter brought the fact that some food was out of date to which they placed right back on the shelf. They are way overpriced on everything too. Stop for gas before you visit the park. Plenty of other options for other necessities nearby.

GORGEOUS! I live about an hour and 15 minutes away, and it was well worth the drive this past spring! I plan to take my daughter back there soon! We were swimming by the stairs and a little turtle swam right up to us.. but don't worry, we released him after we got a picture of him. :)

I had to cancel 7 days prior due to our family contracting Covid and advised not to travel. The park would not even consider refunding part of my deposit I was out $250 I will never book with them again

First time visiting RISP. Really great place to view some awesome waterfalls. This TN state park is well maintained. The welcome center staff was really informative. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with paper products. The trails were marked well, but some areas were washed out from storms and erosion, Overall, we loved the trails and the facilities.
