We stayed in the Campground and had a Ruben the first day the second day I had a BLT that was very good my wife had a bacon cheeseburger that was the best she ever had. The people who work there are as nice as you could ever ask for. We had a great time God bless this store and all that keep it going.

My grilled cheese sandwich was burnt black on one side. Place was cute as a General Store, but dusty and grungy as a restaurant.

The best place for an instant serotonin boost! The food transported me back to my grandmother's cooking, filled with warmth and nostalgia. The service was impeccable, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was enchanting, as if I had stepped into a Hallmark movie, complete with charming decor featuring antique items on shelves and hanging from the walls.
We indulged in a delicious burger and crispy fries, but the highlight was definitely the Tiffany fried bologna sandwich—an absolute must-try! As we sat and took it all in, we were delighted to discover an amazing selection of hand-delivered pickled items. To top it off, we savored two fresh, just-made fried pies—one lemon and one apple. We ventured outside on the back deck and shortly after a 3 piece banjo, violin/fiddle, guitar band started playing. It was fantastic! The perfect afternoon. This is the kind of experience that everyone needs to enjoy on a regular basis.

I'll have to go back and try again but today's experience wasn't a good one. The atmosphere of the store is great. But they didn't have a wide selection of drinks to choice from. They had fresh coffee and fried pies my was supposed to be peach but was labeled wrong. It was lit very good I can't understand why just a guess that they were made in an air fryer. So stay away from the so called fried pies. As for the food from the grill it looked great. I'm go8ng to make it point to pay another visit and try again. As for the drinks I'd see about getting a variety of crush nehi and boland cola.

Husband and I took a drive to Rugby today as a saw that Harrows Café was closed for renovations but RM Brooks store was highly recommended. It was a sweet step back in time with all the collectibles and mementos of days gone by.
My husband had the thickest loaded hamburger (cooked nicely, neither raw in the middle nor overcooked on the outside) and I had a juicy reuben on crispy toasted rye. So yummy. Friendly service, though pretty crowded and busy. Highly recommend!
