I have been shopping here for awhile and even volunteered a few months ago hanging clothes. I shopped here before when Johnathan owned the place and thought they would withhold most of the same values and principles of helping community and maintaining low prices. But I've known for a bit that they've been marking up prices based on the "resale" prices on eBay, since they did something similar with me once before. (Discussed what to charge for a pair of boots I got that looked like a brand called Doc Martens) I decided to give it another chance but my experience today left an awful taste in my mouth. We were buying a pair of shoes that we found mixed in with all of the other shoes. But in order to determine a price, the cashier pulled out her phone to look at the price on eBay all because the shoes happened to be Converse brand. Since someone paid almost 80 dollars for the same pair at one point on eBay she offered me 20 dollars for them. The shoes were stained, scuffed, slightly worn, and missing laces. Absolutely not. I made a fuss and basically told her resale prices mean absolutely nothing. That means that someone decided to pay that much for a used item at one point in time. It does not determine the worth and value of an item. The cashier then tried to call the owner to get me to talk with her about it even though I said multiple times that I just won't get the shoes and I don't want to talk with her. I said I would pay 5 dollars max for shoes in this condition and they wouldn't even do that. I thought this was a thrift store that priced things accordingly and not based on brand name! Also I had some store credit left but they couldn't find my info in it even tho it had only been a few months. I do understand that they are a business who needs to make money, but they still advertise as a thrift store. Thrift stores usually are priced so the less advantaged can afford to shop there. Also the place is so crowded with merchandise you can hardly move around. Maybe if you spent less time on eBay price gouging dirty used stuff to make a few extra bucks, you would be able to sell and move product faster. Maybe set a price for items like this before customers make it to the register so we aren't blindsided like this. Just a suggestion!. Surprised they didn't charge more for the Adiddas sweatpants I got, or test to see if the bracelet i got was real gold by this kind of mindset. This place won't last long with this business tactic. I am so disappointed and I will never be back. The "resale" rack is right. They are just glorified resellers now. Charging consignment store prices for dirty, used junk all because of a brand name

extremely cheap prices, the clothes were 10¢ each when I went. The store is just very unorganized and very messy.

I have been coming to this thrift store ever since I moved into the area 2 years ago, previously Frugality Thrift Store. Watched this place grow, and even with change in ownership and name, it's still the best affordable Thrift store I've been to. One thing that astounds me is the involvement in the community that I have volunteered to help when I can.

This store is such a blessing to the community! Tara has made so many changes for the better since she became the new owner. The angel tree was amazing! The prom dress program is terrific! Prices are very reasonable. Love looking through the selection of clothing. Best thrift store in the area.

Its always a joy to find hidden treasures someone has overlooked. Her prices are way below everyone else's. She has bargain days as well that should be .50 instead of .25. If people don't pay what it's worth she won't be able to pay her overhead. It's a business I want to see be able to continue.

God bless them and Prosper them and Make his Face shine upon them. God loves a Cheerful Giver, love that they give back to the community.“Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,”Acts 4:3436 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”Matthew 22:36-40Proverbs 22:9 - Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor.

This place is awesome! And the hospitality of the staff was on point! Thanks again for being an Amazon pickup point, this is a service that few places around Knoxville offer but one that brings unsuspecting customers into their store and gives the customers the comfort of home! Well done!!!
