Mr. Van has been a part of this community for many years. Mr. Van and his staff are very knowledgeable about a lot of home or business material and they are very friendly. Van's hardware is also a U-Haul dealer.

In a world where we are seeing less and less of the independent mom-and-pop businesses, where global companies offer countless aisles of every widget you need, it is great to see an independent place still thriving and with a team that offers friendly and professional service. They have a decent selection. Granted, they can't compete with Home Depot or Lowe's in size of inventory, but they offer what you need at a fair price point. All in all, this is a great local mom-and-pop business that is staying viable in this day of global hardware stores.

Been going to Van's Hardware over 35 yrs and just went today. I was greeted at the door as I have been every time I go. They found me a Delta faucet cartridge by using my old one as a guide. With 100 or so cartridges on the wall plus 100's of repair kits, the young man found it in under 5 minutes. I then asked for a replac't aerator unit for our kitchen faucet, "0" rings to replace the unobtainium flat washer for my 25 yr old faucet shroud (39 cents ea.) $11 total for plumbing supplies that restored our $280 (1998 price) Kitchen faucet that is 25 yrs old. I'm pretty sure I couldn't have replaced that faucet set today for what I paid in 1998!They have more Hardware than time to report on but HVAC filters, Nails 'n Screws by the pound. Wire, bolts, paint mixed. Van can sharpen or replace the chain on your chainsaw. Unlike Lowes you don't have to leave the dept you're in to find someone to help you. Don't forget the 25 minute 14 mi. One way Trip to Springfield!Van's Hardware is a real convenience and asset to homeowners in the PV and Coopertown areas. God Bless 'em.

One of the best stores around. Van is one of the coolest cats in PV. There's always good people working there that can help you out and make sure your questions are answered.This store has been around to watch the town grow; that being said, it's a cool little piece of local history.Thanks for keeping the town supplied with hardware and kindness!

After having my plumbing checked a small hole was found in my dishwasher’s outtake hose. I called Van’s and he had the hoseAnd necessary clamps. He set the items aside for me until my granddaughter could come and pick them up. I appreciate him greatly!

Van is a super nice man and alway has a good story or a joke. Pretty awesome place for a local hardware shore! Pretty much has what ya need. I'd call before ya drive their and see if he has what ya need

What a great hardware store! The selection obviously isn't as large as someplace like Lowe's or Home Depot but they probably still have what you need and their prices are almost always lower than those places.The best part is that when you come in with a project and you're not sure WHAT you need, they are always willing to help you figure it out.
