My husband and I have been here before (he likes the chocolate covered pretzels) sadly, nothing else is good here in my opinion. It all tastes very prepackaged to us. Today I went out on a limb and tried the chocolate creams and coconut chocolates and they were very hard and old. I spent $26, I got 10 small creams just to throw them away right outside and on top of that the people working at the counter are extremely rude in every way possible EXCEPT one guy with brown hair who works there which I think he is new or at least today is the first time we’ve seen him. We checked out with him but our friend checked out with a blonde that was very rude and looked miserable. I would recommend saving your money and going to the Old Smokey mountain candy kitchen in Gatlinburg, in my opinion they are much better quality and a lot cheaper.

As it was our last day of Vacation we decided to drive to Old Mill to kill some time before our check in at The Red Roof Inn on August 5th. Our first stop was The Candy Kitchen. As we walked through the doors I took a look around and could hear "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka playing in my head. The selection is absolutely one of the best in the Smokies! From Candy Apples, To Fudge, To Chocolate Covered Twinkies they have something for everyone but what really stood out is that they have Chocolate Covered Bacon.....yes you heard me right CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON!!!! We ended up leaving with Peach Gummy Rings, A box of Taffy, A Chocolate Covered Twinky, A Truffle, 3 pieces of Chocolate Covered Bacon of course and because of their promotion we left with a pound and a half of fudge! We were a little disappointed that they didn't have any of The Harry Potter Butter Beer in stock but hopefully on our next visit they will! Money very well spent! I absolutely recommend visiting The Candy Kitchen and trying out the sugary wonder they have!

Great place to stop by for a sweet treat! Homemade fudge, caramel apples etc. so much to choose from. We got homemade fudge with walnuts it was very good and a Carmel apple it was also very good. Not expensive either. The same Carmel apple I would have gotten at Dollywood for $13 I got here for $6.

Compared to other candy stores I've been to it was a steal. Regular candy sticks were already pretty cheap but they sell broken bags for half the size which are just as good if you don't mind their looks. Got too much taffy for one person for 8 dollars. Fudge was delicious. Go to a restaurant (I went to old mill cafe) before to get a 15 percent off coupon too.

I arrived at the store 10 minutes before closing time today and one of the employees was already blocking the entrance. I saw 5 groups of customers get turned away before closing time.
This on a holiday weekend when the area was still packed with people - talk about leaving money on the table…

All the younger employees were very polite and professional. There was one older woman working, and she was so rude, unprofessional and just disgusting. She actually rolled her eyes at me an threw her hand up in manner to say whatever. She kept trying to argue. All because I wanted to buy one piece of chocolate to try before I bought a pound or more. I will never go back to this place ever just because of her. I will be l going to other candy stores.

Very friendly! You can watch candy artisans make taffy live.

Everything was good. Got taffy, and some of their prepackaged candies.
Everyone was friendly. Pricing was good.
It's small in there and tight squeeze. Not wheelchair accessible though. If it was busier it definitely would be difficult to get around and shop.
Location is easy to get to.

Paid 4.99 for each piece of the boozy truffles that just tasted like sugar. Need at least some flavor. the dark chocolate is good, but the flavors were not there. Also tried the Raspberry. It's flavor was very faint, just sugar. Very disappointed. Do not recommend unless you really like sugar. The boozy truffles were very pretty, but again Just sugar though. The champagne truffle was almost like a salted caramel. But no presence of champagne.

I love this candy store! They had so many options that were sugar-free which is hard to come by in smaller stores. The taffy, buckeyes, & truffles were really good. I was able to get my diabetic uncle some sugar-free treats which is amazing. The store is very cute and I will be coming back!
