I read some of the reviews about the location, specifically those stating rude attitudes from the staff and felt compelled to provide my experience. Despite sticking out like a sore thumb (foreigner from Los Angeles), both times I visited I was met with smiles and a friendly demeanor by their cashiers. The location is a bit difficult to get to if you are traveling from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge as you have to make a u-turn on the parkway and then try and turn into the driveway while cars block entry as they wait for the adjacent light to change. As for the complaints about the food, I wouldn't know as I would have no desire eating at a gas station.

It's a country store gas station- not a tourist country store- you can buy wood, beer, glass soda out of ice boxes( I guess 1970-1980s style) get hotdogs, bake goods, etc inside store has seen times but bathroom aleast men's was up to date and clean, staff was nice and fast. It's gas station I used to back home.

J&B market is a marathon gas station and marketplace located in pigeon forge Tennessee. My family in town from Lousiville was dining across the street at one of the many pancake speciality houses the city has to offer when they had light popped on. We bolted across the road here and stopped In at this smaller gas station. Seemed a bit ran down and not many pumps and the parking lot makes it difficult to maneuver in and out to the traffic light. However it met our gas needs and had decent pricing compared to some of the other gas stations closer to the tourists traps of the town. So overall not a bad experience at all. Just kinda a pain to get in and out.

Do not buy hotdogs, the people there are rude we explained to them we wanted 2 hotdogs for $1.99 but they rang us up for 2 hotdogs for $2.99 and the manager made us leave

They have a really bad costumer services, I tried to buy hot dogs and they wanted to sell me for more money that they have in the menu, when I said him that I wanted to know why they just leave me.

Not many people write reviews for gas stations, but in my case case I just must to share this little story. We were on a getaway with my boyfriend in one of the cabins high up in the mountains. When we just arrived there was no snow and we easily could get to the cabin with our rental car. The next as we were coming back back to our cabin late in the evening it turned out that it snowed a lot and we couldn't get up hill without the chains. We decided to leave our car at the nearest gas station till we figure something out the next morning. We would have to walk for about an hour to get to our cabin, and it was cold, dark and snowing a lot. We parked at the gas station and went to ask permission to leave our car. The man who worked there (unfortunately I didn't ask his name) asked about our situation and offered us help. He called his friends who have a 4 wheel drive truck so they can take us to our cabin. It was very nice of him and his friends! We appreciate their help! Our vacation was saved and the next morning the roads were salted so we could use our car.
