This past weekend was rod run weekend in Pigeon Forge. Every April n Sept we go to this event. It's a VERY busy time with all motels booked out, no where to park, setting in traffic FOR HOURS just to get down 1 side of the parkway. The motel we were staying in had told me at check in that we could park in parking deck or beside the motel in parking lot. I don't know if I misunderstood or he told me wrong... Either way, there was a restaurant next door to motel. Good thing we were headed out to get into the swimming pool caz I seen the snatch tow truck backed up to my vehicle fixing to tow it Saturday afternoon. I went straight to the parking lot n asked what was wrong n he said the restaurant called wanting the truck towed off it's property! I said, oh no! Please don't tow me. I thought I could park there ... Long story short, the wrecker guy was super friendly and very understanding n he let me move it. He didn't charge me anything either. Some people may say, well he didn't tow ur truck so why would he charge u? It's simple, they have to make money for their time and service call out there. He didn't! I was very appreciative! Super nice and friendly! Thank u much! I have a pic of him backed up to the truck but don't know how to post it under reviews. I would have been devastated had it gotten towed. It was my son truck who just recently passed. Anyways, thanks again! ? Charlene
**UPDATE - I figured out how to post my pic. Lol**

Mechanics in this area of the country seem to be booked for days or weeks. There seems to be a shortage of them. I was told that some people on vacation sometimes have to fly back and pick up their cars if they have a problem, it can take so long to get work done. Carr's Auto fixed the problem quickly when nobody else had availability and I was able to drive home! I never would have made it on time without them.

While on vacation our car died at Pirates Voyage dinner show… we called and waited for AAA (who never arrived). We called Carr’s the next morning - they came quickly, towed us to their shop and repaired our vehicle the next day.

Carr’s Auto Service was very helpful in a pinch with our truck’s check engine light came on after towing our 5th wheel. They allowed us to use a loaner car when the truck was serviced. Vacation saved. We would recommend them to all travelers!

On our way to Jeep Invasion, our Jeep started acting up. Made it to Pigeon Forge and started making calls. We kept getting turned away, then we were referred here. Called and they told us to bring it now. Fuel injector had to be replaced and they had us back in our Jeep in a reasonable time and at a great price!!
These men were a saving grace to what started as a horrible trip. Highly recommend!

After taking the roaring fork river tour we smelled rubber thinking it was our brakes. We decided we had better have them checked before heading home. It was a Sunday and not a lot of repair places are open. Got on line and found Carr's was open. After calling them and getting directions to find them. I must say the location was unique. We got taken care of quickly, brakes still good and was on our way 30 minutes later. Cost was very reasonable.

This place is not fancy, but they get the job done. My Ford Explorer broke down in Cades Cove. The car rental place recommended Carr's so I thought I would give them a try. I was able to find a towing service that would bring the car to them on a Sunday from Cades Cove. Once there they had it diagnosed and fixed in a little more than 24 hours. The guy at the front desk could use a little more personality, but other than that I would recommend this place. While the price of the repair was not bad, it was not cheap either. I am sure I could have gotten it done $200 to $300 less if I were not in Pigeon Forge. It was a fuel pump replacement and the total for everything was almost $1300.

We were visiting the area when the steering pump on car was failing…they had us in and out in a couple of days…all things considered, we were expecting a lot worse, but they were awesome…couldn’t have been more grateful!

I was on vacation, as are most customers perhaps, and of course had serious issues with my brake line. I had already seen a mechanic when we started our trip when the issue first started. I told that mechanic what the problem was but they couldn’t find it. So it actually drove smooth until we got to Cherokee and started our trek through the mountains to pigeon forge. Of course it happens then in a dangerous and congested place. It was all the same symptoms as before. By God’s grace we made it through the mountains and to the hotel. On the next day I called three mechanics until I located Carrs and they welcomed me in and listened. They eventually verified the problem I knew about and got me fixed in about 2-3 hours. They probably deal with a lot of inpatient and fretful vacationers so it’s great they treated me well along with the other customers that came in.
