“Absolutely love this place. Remember going as a kid and later when we had children of our own and now once again after we raised them... this was one place our kids wanted hillbilly taffy from. The owners are so super nice and helpful. Brought back memories of watching the candies being made. They have a large selection of items. Even sugar free options. Even can get souvenirs while there. It was easy to get into and had alot of extra parking available, and when you exit out it's not in a congested intersection. We love it so much we went by twice. This is a must go see... and super.excited to also be able to order online when I run out.”
“Pumpkin spice shake was smooth and creamy. Even distribution of flavor throughout. Topped with whipped cream and cinnamon. It was too good, I bought a second to enjoy on the way back to my car. It is worth trying if you like shakes or ice cream.”
“One of the best shops at the island, homemade fudge and treats great awesome employee and it really felt like home there ! Greatest fudge I’ve ever eaten 10/10 would recommend to everyone !!!! Will most definitely be ”
“Smells like candy the second you walk in. I would definitely go here again. They had all kinds of candy, including freeze dried candy and souvenirs with names on them!”
“As it was our last day of Vacation we decided to drive to Old Mill to kill some time before our check in at The Red Roof Inn on August 5th. Our first stop was The Candy Kitchen. As we walked through the doors I took a look around and could hear "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka playing in my head. The selection is absolutely one of the best in the Smokies! From Candy Apples, To Fudge, To Chocolate Covered Twinkies they have something for everyone but what really stood out is that they have Chocolate Covered Bacon.....yes you heard me right CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON!!!! We ended up leaving with Peach Gummy Rings, A box of Taffy, A Chocolate Covered Twinky, A Truffle, 3 pieces of Chocolate Covered Bacon of course and because of their promotion we left with a pound and a half of fudge! We were a little disappointed that they didn't have any of The Harry Potter Butter Beer in stock but hopefully on our next visit they will! Money very well spent! I absolutely recommend visiting The Candy Kitchen and trying out the sugary wonder they have!”
“Visited this store while looking for something to satisfy my sweet tooth. Did a tour around the store to see offerings that were available. Ended up grabbing a caramel candy apple after speaking with store clerk who let me k on the caramel was soft and not hard. Prices were a bit on the higher side but not too bad. Check it out while visiting the Island if you’re in search of something sweet.”
“My wife and I played the toy box mini golf course tonight 9/20/2024. It was really fun.
A challenging course. Highly recommend it.
I like the fact that is not on the main Parkway but just off of it.”

“The best old time candy store for a thousand miles. It reminds me of my grandma's who has left this world Christmas candy and it takes me back to her kitchen. I love this place”
