I see great reviews for this firm, yet I terminated Acuff as my experience with other tax professionals has been far superior. My firing of this firm was a $250.00 research fee by Gilbert alleging my 20 year bookkeeper was at fault for issues and questions (her and I had) pertaining to my books. Gilbert is an EA (not a CPA). An EA is an enrolled agent... and I have no idea what that means or was that fact ever explained in my multi-year relationship with Acuff as went from CPA oversight to EA oversight.
