I was driving on i-40 towards Knoxville at 6pm on February 27th and this truck was driving recklessly fast behind me. They drove in the left lane to pass the other cars on the interstate. I was nervous to let them ahead of me since their high speeds were causing their truck to sway so I sped up to encourage them to merge to the right lane behind me. This apparently set him off. He tried to swerve me off the road every time I tried to pass him in an act of extreme and violent road rage that lasted for miles down the interstate. I am writing this review because I had to call the police to get him off the road and prevent him from causing a potentially fatal wreck as well as the fact that I left a voicemail with CP trucking letting them know of the incident, asked for a call back, but never got one. The truck was #267 and the license plate is U977793. Making decisions like this on the road is unacceptable and often leads to fatal accidents. Please do better.

Make sure you look at the FMCSA Ratings before even considering this carrier. Very Poor Safety record, Poor Employee relations, Poor condition equipment because of Lack of Proper maintenance & repair when noted on inspection reports. Owner is NOT interested in Properly maintaining his equipment.

Owner bends over backwards to insure his employees are taken care of. Prior posts were from a disgruntled employee, looking for a get rich quick scam, through bogus lawsuits. I have been working with c.p.t.for 8 years. Am very happy here.

One of their trucks ran myself my daughter and my wife off of highway 45 in Ms. Then proceded to harass us futher down the road as we tried to call police to report them any company that uses drivers like these should be put out of bussiness and carried to a court of law

If I could give them a minus score I would. They started out to be a very good company a year or so ago when I started with them. At this point, not so good. It has cost me over $ 2,000 in lost wages to work for them. That's in a little over a year. If anybody would like to know as it is said "The Rest of the story", contact me & I will send you documented info on it. Otherwise, do as you see fit. Truth is not slander. Have a good day.
