The staff at the Post Office are equally helpful and patient with my questions. Honestly, service thru our Post Office is a reason to live in this pretty little town!”

“The first Pall Mall Post office was founded in 1832 by John Clemens, the father of Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) who had just moved his family nine miles north from Jamestown. Earlier in 1835, John handed over some of his lands to Berry Gatewood, the new postmaster, before leaving for Missouri where Twain was reportedly born later that year in Nov.”
