Very rude people working there who had an attitude. My boyfriend and I had to ask where the peanut butter was because we just couldn't find it. The lady who helped us didn't even look like she worked there. She had bell bottoms on and no name tag. She was so rude about helping us. She took us to the aisle and said " it's down here, it says it right there on the sign" in a very demeaning tone. Wow. I couldn't believe the disrespect. Then we needed help finding something else so I asked the gentleman who was standing by the self checkout about where the parchment paper was. He looked confused. I said "you know, wax paper.." still looking confused my boyfriend said "it will be with the aluminum foil." The guy said "oh, uh.. I guess try down the picnic aisle. Well we looked at him and said "where's the picnic aisle?" And I just walked away and said "forget it, I'll just find it myself," but at that point I was too frustrated to even go look so I just put all my stuff down and left the store. On the way out my boyfriend talked to one of the assistant managers because it was so ridiculous how we were treated and how the one employee doesn't even know how to properly help a customer. I would literally stop what I was doing to help a customer to make sure the customers needs are met and satisfied. What happened to the customer is always a priority? My boyfriend and I will never be returning to this food city ever again because of the horrible experience we had. I would highly recommend hiring people who are friendly, keeps the customer satisfaction in mind, and knows how to actually do their job. It's sad that some people hire people who are just warm bodies who are just there for a paycheck. You need to find passionate people who are willing to help other. Someone who will go above and beyond to help the customer. It's sad how these millennials treat older people.
