I took my Boston Terrier in for a routine checkup and exam as we are new to the area. Dr. Primm spoiled and loved on her, and made her comfortable. Highly recommend!

We took our miniature schnauzer, Midge, to Applebrook for the first time today. Everyone was so kind and worked diligently to make Midge feel comfortable. We were welcomed and greeted by friendly office staff. Dr. William Pepper got right down to Midge’s level to make her feel comfortable during her exam and Briana was so sweet and gentle while she trimmed Midge’s nails. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for both Midge and me! We highly recommend Applebrook to anyone looking for a great vet who will take excellent care of their furry family members!

This place sucks. All they want is to bleed you dry!!! Every last penny. It’s not how sick your pet is it’s how fast they can get you to sign the estimate. I average $700 every time we walk into the door even for wellness.I'm adding to my above review because I want everyone to know they DO BLEED YOU DRY! I went to another vet down the street and the EXACT SAME bloodwork was $200 LESS that Dr Prim wanted to charge me. The EXACT same pills that Dr. Prim charged me $10 EACH for were $1.25 EACH. My entire bill at Dr. Prim was going to be over $700 without being gauged an extra $100 for a same day visit. The vet down the street, for the EXACT same everything, with 2 a week's dose of medicine instead of 5 days was $475!!!!!!! $225 less for just ONE visit. Imagine how many times she's ripped YOU off!!!! Do yourself a big favor and go to the vet down the street.

The wellness packages are a fantastic deal and the staff and doctors provide the highest level of care to every pet large and small. They even have a small quiet room for those end of life visits when the time comes and will send you a little letter with kind words from the staff and a paw print from your beloved pet. Thank you Applebrook.

Well, our 10-month old Cairn Terrier, Ozzy, was a sneaky boy and swallowed "something". We weren't sure what it was. We didn't think it was an "emergency" because it had been a couple of days and he seemed fine. We took him in as a precaution. Well, good thing we did. Dr. Primm and the Applebrook staff went above and beyond, finding necessary equipment - even borrowing from another vet office, to do special scans, etc. to figure out what was going on. Surgery the next day just happened to be on Dr. Mays' day at the office and she did a fantastic job. It turns out, our Ozzy swallowed a refrigerator magnet - a little plastic ball with a tiny magnet. Dr. Mays was able to find all the tiny pieces in his stomach. Ozzy recovered exceptionally well and he was quickly back to his old tricks. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Applebrook Animal Hospital doctors and staff for helping our little buddy and going above and beyond! :)

Dr. Primm and her staff always take such great care of my pups! I love that the entire practice is Fear Free Certified and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pup's healthcare needs.

We have been taking out German Shepherd Puppy here and we were pleasantly surprised to be introduced to their puppy package. Saved us money on her shots and they are gracious enough to trim her nails, clean her glands, and give toys to her as well. She loves her experiences here and we will be back. I recommend you check them out especially over competitors in the Ooltewah area.

When I brought bell in for her shots they gave her treats and loved on her tobearn her trust and make her feel comfortable, and when giving the shots they distracted her so she wouldn't notice the pain. All the staff were really nice and super helpful. Definitely deserve the 5 stars. Out of the three previous animal hospitals I've gone too for my 3 other pups, applebrook is by far the best.

I called in earlier today to make an appointment for my pup who had a cut and had a bad wound. I explained this over the phone and got and an appointment for same day. This was great! However, due to circumstances out of my control I was late (15 minutes) and despite me asking to please take a quick look at the cut (I fear there might be an infection) I was told that I needed to reschedule. While I understand that they were closing soon I was not expecting my pet to be turned down specially in the state she was in.I do not recommend this place.

We needed a place to board our dogs and had even been prepared to switch vets to ensure they could be boarded where they were seen. We informed Applebrook of our dog's anxiety issues. It seeming wasn't going to be an issue. We went to have them seen by Applebrook before scheduling boarding and Applebrook refused to even see them because my dog who has anxiety issues was "too aggressive." 1 they did not even attempt at seeing if he would come to them and be calm. They did nothing like our current vets office does to ease their anxiety. 2 they said they prefer a calm environment with the animals and our dog would not fit well with that... again never-mind that they did or tried nothing to see if he'd get used to them and calm down.. as he would have. 3 if you're going to call yourself a "fear free" animal hospital I'd suggest actually learning how to deal with ALL pets and ALL pets with issues..Fear free or not I'd be embarrassed by this representation. Dont waste a person's time by not explaining your facility preference prior to meeting the animals. I definitely would NOT recommend.Update: Our dogs do not bite.. never have... my issue is no one there attempted anything.. it's like they assumed he'd bite them. We did go to another place called Pawz and Clawz and their staff was amazing... no one feared the dogs and our dogs warmed to them quickly because their staff attempted to let the dogs get near them and walk with them as we toured the facilities. Jumping to conclusions about animals is a huge issue. I understand you've had past bad experiences but that does not mean every dog with anxiety issues is going to be the same.

Always friendly and helpful. Very gentle with our dog and cats. Dr. Pepper is excellent and explains every procedure and answers any questions we might have.

I am so happy to have landed at this vet’s office. I have one very anxious nervous little pup and one who loves everyone. Both are treated with love. This makes me so happy. I don’t dread taking them in for visits. Thanks for making room for us at your wonderful practice.

I have changed vets four times in five years. I am so grateful to have found Applebrook. The vets and the staff are very knowledgeable, competent, incredibly caring and have fun things in their cat room to keep your cat calm. They show so much love to the animals it helps to relax them. I love this place!Mary Linville

Just needed a wellness check and the next shot for his age for my puppy that I got from high end breeder. They never bothered to check his temp or do basic, standard check. Instead just quick look and the sales pitch started. He had all his shots as per recommended vet schedule. I got high pressure sales from this place to do a puppy plan for a ridiculous price then they tried to dazzle me with medical stuff about how the previous vaccines weren't good. Ignoring the fact that the vaccines have been done for 50 years that way and still are done at pretty much every breeder and most vets in the US and Europe(we lived there before), I am capable of googling and reading the recommended vet guidelines which recommended what we had done. This is a sham place that tries to pressure and scare you to squeeze every dime out of you that they can. I went to a different, competent vet.
