The staff are wonderful. From the anxious call you make to set up an appointment, then when you check in, on into the room where they listen and learn your pets problems and personality.Dr. Morgan comes in knowing you are both nervous and anxious. He smiles and calms you and your pet. This pet home of 2 dogs and 9 cats love knowing you care for us.Gracie is improving slowly after her stroke. Thanks again to everyone.

AMP has consistently proven to be precisely what the name implies. Professional. Each visit my animals have been provided with the same care they have come to expect from their own home. Additionally, the veterinarians and techs always take the time to clearly explain both assessment and treatment of each case. I highly recommend AMP to anyone in the Chattanooga area for veterinarian services.

Many years going here with friends and family. Overall, their caring, professional and cost conscious. Unfortunately, several occurrences in the past few years, 2 in the last month, have reflected less positively on the practice. The first involved our 4 year old dog who had a hurt dew claw. Already having stated to several team members, including Dr. Morgan, that the dog was very anxious at the vet and could react physically and may need to be medicated, Dr. Morgan began the examination anyway, resulting in our dog having the dew claw ripped completely out. While it was not intentional , we had given the warning and were ignored. Not acceptable. The paw was wrapped and that was all, with no follow up scheduled. After a few days, the paw became infected, so we went to an emergency clinic ( it was after hours) and they changed the dressing and treated the infection. Since then we specifically request Dr. Bello or Fields, who seem to listen better. A year or so later we had to put the same dog to sleep. For some reason it ended up being Dr. Morgan again, so we gave him another chance. She was a large dog, about 75 lbs, and again reminded him of her aversion to vets. He did not give her enough anesthesia and therefore she was completely agitated until the end, but he continued anyway. We weretraumatized by the whole situation, again. Last week my cat was very sick. I first brought her to another vet very close to my house. After seeing an estimate of the bill for the procedures they wanted to perform, I decided to take her to Animal Medical Professionals for a second opinion. I personally didn't have an account there, having always taken other family for their pets. After some very brief info, name, address and phone number they said come in. I went. After arriving and filling out there forms, I was asked for some additional, unnecessary information, which I declined to give. Not only was I not required to give that information to the first vet, but the office manager informed me that if I didn't provide them with the information, after several vague and irrelevant attempts to explain why they "needed" it, I was told they would require cash payment. I told them I didn't have cash on me because it was not explained to me when making the appointment about the required info for other than cash forms of payment. After another delay, the office manager came back out and said that they would make an exception "this time", but I would have to sign a form stating that all future visits would require cash, unless I provided the "required" irrelevant info. Since my cat was still so sick, I signed the form, saw a doctor, paid the bill and began the treatment. My cat is doing much better, but the experience of lack of communication and requiring they keep information on file that isn't required elsewhere was unsettling. Move to today. We again had to have one of our older dogs put to sleep. This appointment was made more than a month ago. Again, Dr . Bello or Fields was specifically requested. Upon entering the room, Dr. Dickinson came in and began the anesthesia. When he left the room, I went out to the receptionist and told them we had specifically made the appointment so one of the female Drs was available. I went back in the room and again the office manager came in and profusely apologized, stating they recently had to move the schedule around and Dr. Bello was not available, but Dr Fields would finish if that was ok with us. We said that was absolutely what we had requested, but we're never informed of the change. Not even on arrival! It again appears that there is a lack of important communication going on. They had even called yesterday to assure the appointment was on, but never said a word about "reshuffling" the schedule, and didn't appear to know the request when the treatment began. Dr. Fields and Bello are very good. The front office needs to get their communication with clients fixed. They're not dealing with taco or burger orders, this is

Dr Bello helped get answers for my 11 year old labs declining health all while keeping cost down for me.I had previously sought answers at a vet clinic I’ve been going to for 15+ years.I feel grateful to have answers and appreciate all the help she has offered while I make decisions during this difficult time.

We have been using this vet since we moved to Tennessee, the veterinarians and all staff are fantastic and are always make sure we get appointments whenever we need care. We have multiple dogs and cats and they take care of all of them, we trust their recommendations as they have always provided great care. The staff are always friendly and great with our pets! Even when we moved closer to Chattanooga, we still take our pets here and always will!

Moved to Chattanooga a year ago and looked for a good veterinary clinic that had a wellness plan for my dog - like I had in Atlanta. Scheduled a visit here and the visit was horrible. The vet seeing my dog literally pushed teeth cleaning like a desperate salesman, even though my dog only had mild plaque. They stuck something up my dogs behind to get a stool sample instead of just asking me to walk him outside to get it - which is invasive, to say the least and then told me they could only give my dog a 1-year rabies shot because I was a new patient and they wanted to make sure I come back before giving him a longer period rabies shot. I was VERY unhappy with them but wanted to give them another chance. Forward a year later and $81 per month on the wellness plan so $1000 paid to this clinic (including a deposit), I make an annual appointment for my dog, who is now due for his shots again and I'm told that my wellness plan will not pay for or even contribute to his visit because it only covers 1 visit in the year, unlike other vets wellness plans where your money paid goes towards all visits and procedures, based on what you have paid, (at least in Atlanta). Not only had I paid them for a year for absolutely nothing, but then they explained that I would need to renew my wellness plan at this visit and the new deposit price was going to be $200 and then $75/month. Are you kidding me? So that I can continue to pay them monthly for absolutely zero care to my dog???? Steer clear......this clinic is literally a money grabbing machine, and their care is for creating ways to continue to make more money without providing actual services, and not really for the animals they see.

As a first time dog mom, our Sarge had a bleeding issue~ they got us in ASAP, within the hour..They ALL def get extra stars because we were more than 25 min late & everyone was extremely kind, and compassionate as I was a disheveled hot mess in silent tears with worry. Our skittish rescue boy was totally comfortable with all of the staff and I want to give a huge shoutout for that. So in my mind, 1 billion stars for you all today & thankyou for putting my worries to rest & our “kid”in such caring hands!

You won't find a better vet, period. I have been coming here for years. They always get me in right away and every time i go to pay, my bill is SO much lower than I expect it to be. Every. Single. Time! They take care of whatever issue I have in one visit and if there has to be a follow up visit they don't charge near what other vets do. 100% highly recommend!
