HCG was the first and only venue I toured. We fell in love instantly. The People: The previous director, Ivy, worked with us from May 2023 - January 2024. She was absolutely amazing, so when we were told that she was leaving at the end of January, I panicked. We worked with the new director, Lexie, from February up until our wedding on March 9. My panicked diminished as soon as I met her. She was helpful, responsive to my ideas/requests, and had a customer-first mindset. I made a lot of tweaks the two weeks leading up to my wedding and she was very flexible and willing to pivot. The day of coordinator, Mindy, did a great job setting up all of my decor and keeping our heads on straight. Both ladies were also very patient with our 10 flower girls/ring bearers and helped ease the stress that comes with young children. The Venue: The venue itself is amazing and well kept. They redid the floors, repainted, and updated the patio area. There's a bride and groom conference area to get ready in. It does need some updating, but it got the job done. The garden, cocktail hour patio/putting green, and reception pavilion were gorgeous. There's also on-site cottages that you are able to rent. Our families did and they loved it.The Food: The food deserves its own review. 10/10. SO GOOD. Our guests raved about it. It's not the dry chicken you get at most weddings. Go with the chicken prosciutto and Manhattan potatoes. I still dream about those potatoes.Last tidbits: This is one of the most affordable venues in town, especially given all that it includes. Because we didn't have to worry about outside food, alcohol, linens, tables, etc, we were a lot less stressed.Overall, 10/10, would recommend.

Incredible golf experience. Well worth the money even in winter conditions.

Recently hosted an event at Hermitage Golf Course to raise awareness and funding for pancreatic cancer research. The staff was incredible! From the very get go working with Ivy, was phenomenal! She is a truly an incredible person to work with. Willing to listen and provide feedback, and help bring your vision to reality. One thing that truly impressed me the most is the fact that the entire staff was asked to wear the “purple ribbons” by Ivy. It was a small gesture that truly touched my heart! Working in the hospitality industry myself, it’s small gestures like that, that people remember. We are thankful to have worked with Ivy and her team and look forward to our event in 2024!

I had my wedding here! There is so much I have to say about this venue and the Director of Events Ivy Manfredi. This venue is just about all inclusive! I just needed hair, makeup, cake, and DJ. The food is incredible, and you can have your rehearsal dinner at this location too! They are great with accommodations when it comes to special diets, as well as special requests. Ivy was there for me from the first walk through to the very last part of my reception! She even rallied together help when my hair and makeup was a no show on the day of. The whole day was a blur but she was there keeping me calm and pushing me through with the kindest heart. Now about the venue itself. WOW! First a golf course is beautiful year round so there is never a bad day. One thing that was so important to me when looking for an outdoor venue was the rain plan. Let me tell you it is just as good as the garden!! You will not end up in a tent or having to walk past your catering if it rains. You have a beautiful fire place surrounded by beautiful glass walls to see the course, and climate control! I also want to mention the price. For what you are getting it is absolutely affordable! Ivy will work with you to find a package that works best with your budget. Last but not least at all the unique experience of being able to visit with the resident sheep on the course!! When I say I looked forward to this for so long I mean it, and they did not disappoint! My Husband and I got amazing photos with them and I will cherish that memory forever! If you are on the fence just take a visit, see the magic for yourself!

If you are on the fence about a venue, look no more. As the MOG, I got to stand back and watch this beautiful wedding unfold. Ivy & her staff were helpful, professional & set up the most beautiful event. Thank you for making my son & daughter in law’s day an amazing one!

If you are reading this and looking for a wedding venue this is the place to do it. The wedding department is amazing and our wedding was more than we could have ever hoped for. Ivy, was a dream to work with and truly made our day run smooth and stress free. I wouldn’t change a thing! Also, my sister and I did stay in the cottage the night before and had a blast. They were so clean and well maintained. We loved the patio where we could take a beat. Highly recommend.

Hermitage golf club was better than my friends and I could have imagined. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all in prestige form. Had great service in the clubhouse and was having a great day but unfortunately made the turn and was met with a very rude woman in the halfway house. My friends and I all left 20% or more tip but that wasn’t good enough for her and she let us know. Never had an interaction like that in my life but other than her the place was great.

Ivy Manfredi as the wedding planner to a wedding I photographed (AIMPhotoNash) at Hermitage Golf Course was a dream to work with last week & made the day go by so smoothly & timely. Every single point in the timeline went off without a hitch, from shuttling us all on the golf cart, to getting waters, to making sure the couple (& me!) had everything they needed. She is fantastic to work with & I look forward to many more weddings at this beautiful venue.

Absolutely love this place! The course is in great condition! The range is a great place to test out your accuracy. There is a great spot to the left of the range where you can hone in heavily with your wedges from 75 yards out.Everyone is always friendly, and the clubhouse is beautiful. The only knock I have is that the range is a little overpriced, but it's all you can hit balls ?♂️ well played on their end. And I wish they had some more course deals. This course is always enjoyable! ?

Played the generals retreat with a few randoms today and it was great! Sadly we didn’t see any of these famous sheep like it said in other reviews but oh well! This was one of the nicer courses I’ve played and as someone who shoots mid 90s, it wasn’t too complicated at all. Everything was cut and the greens were all different and challenging. My only complaint would be that the driving range aims at the green on hole 11 or 12 sorry don’t remember but the range “net” was ripped and balls were coming through and landing by us when we were trying to chip and putt on this specific hole. Not super fun but luckily nobody was hurt.Besides that small thing, I would highly recommend this course to anyone in the Nashville arrea who wants to get a great golfing experience.

Awesome course and absolutely beautiful. What kills it is the pro shop staff. Probably the most disrespectful, ostentatious group of people I've ever encountered. Snobby about their defense for why they don't provide military discount and are proud of their "cheap" rates at nearly $100 a round. One, you're in the Volunteer state so support your veterans who keep you free, and two, it's not a TPC course, get over yourselves.

We stayed in the cottages on the course. They are very nice and comfortable. The only thing they don’t have is any plates or silverware. The clubhouse is very nice. For the price the course is in medium shape at best. The tee boxes and fairways are beat up and full of divets. They do give you free balls at the range before your round. Overall there are much better courses for the price.

Starter sent a group off ahead of us that had already played 18 and signed on for another lap but did not have a tee time. Resulted in even slower round than would have expected. Walked off 16 after 5 hours. Didn’t see a ranger after the first few holes. For this nice of a course it was completely unacceptable.
