I visited the Oakland TN on 6-17-25 at 6:50pm. I was at the auto center. Your employee Malcolm told me they were closing in 10 minutes. He looked at my tire and noticed I had a nail in it. He told me to go ahead and go inside, because I’m not going to make it far where the nail was located and he didn’t want me to be stranded on the side of the road. He stated that he did not mind going over his time to help me. There are not many nice people in this world anymore. I just wanted Walmart to know that they hired one. His name is Malcolm. And he did it with a smile. I really really appreciate him. I want to thank him again.

I stopped at this Walmart store in Oakland, TN for the first time and I loved it. The store was so clean, they had everything laid out so nice. Very good store to shop at.

Oakland TN Walmart wake up!! I think an 80 yr old lady employee is ordering the women’s clothes! Not everyone likes moo moos . This Walmart is so backwoods janky.. Is this the Walmart Outlet store ? There is nothing up to date . Redid the store 2 years later still has the same displays. It is worth driving to Memphis because the number 1 problem is the employees standing around , playing, talking so loud, and hiding in the aisles. Yesterday 6 employees standing around down by the furniture and talking like they were at a party.. This store used to be great and now it’s worse . Where’s the Heinz 57? It is not selling anything the other stores are. Please get with it. Hire some people with some sense! I walked out yesterday because of a constant beeping at the garden center with all dead garden stuff. This is a madhouse.. its worst than the Dollar General on stocking too, carts everywhere . I’ll take my chances in Memphis of my car getting broke into , or I’ll get my groceries at Kroger. Oh yea and Amazon delivers quick. The Walmart on Whitten Rd in Memphis feels like a Target… ?

I thought the new improvements were going to be for the betterment of the store. However, the variety has reduced big time. Their jewelry dpt. Is 1/3 its size. & nothing is where it used to be. I asked an employee for help & was told she didn't know where anything was either... Isn't that their job??

I normally have a good experience when I pick up online orders from this location but lately it hasn’t been so good. A few times the unavailable items that are in my cart are actually in stock. Today before I picked up my order I went go into the store to double check to see if the unavailable items were actually out of stock and one of those items were in stock. This also happened another time I picked up an order. I’m not sure if I’ll be picking up anymore online orders from that Walmart.
