Great little apartment. Monthly visits from pest control. Grounds are well kept. Jimmy is a wonderful maintenance man. He keeps everything running smoothly. Wendy is a great property manager. Only issue I have with the property is that the parking spaces are very small. But overall we are very happy with our apartment.

Lived here for 2 years. Very good for the most part. Furnished option with silverware/ kitchen items/ bedding/ TV and flat rate utility/ Internet/ cable inclusion were very affordable. Rooms have fans, overhead lights. Bathroom has mirror, fan. Responsive maintenance, monthly pest control. Pretty clean property. Nice outdoor pool during the summer. Next to a pond, the woods, and the highway. Mostly quiet area. Ms. Debby Hall and her staff do a good job with packages, maintenance requests, concerns like temperature/ Internet outages. Only major issues are frequent broken community washing machine/ dryer and Internet outages. Only rare power outages.

Straight up crooks! They requested that I be a Guarantor for a family member due to them having not so great credit and processed my application that cost me $40. My application came back with no issues but they still denied the family members and took my money. I requested a refund but was denied. Straight up crooks!
Update - I was contacted by the property management group (i.e., Valor) and they offered to refund my money if I would take down my review. It's sad that it took a negative review for them to do the right thing. If you're still seeing this review then you know what my response was.

Very great place to live and well kept up and if anyone looking for an apartment this is the place to look into.
Ms. Debby is a wonderful manager and she is on top of job as far as the apartments are well kept up and getting issues taken care of at the apartments.
Really can't ask for a better place to live.

It is very nice, roomy and comfortable full kitchen, and furnished. You don't want to get the apartment under the owner. He can hammer drill and do cartwheels and nothing can be done about the noise, outside of calling the police

This is a convenient place to stay near Oak Ridge. It has everything you need in the kitchen and towels for the bathroom. It gets vacuumed at least once a week, and the pool is nice during the summer time. The prices seem a little high, but they are about as good as I have found locally. Not a bad option if looking for short-term housing without having to go through the hassle of setting up utilities and finding furniture.

I have been here at West Gate for six months and I have to say it was a pleasure to stay here. All I had to do was move my clothes in. The staff here are wonderful, I felt safe at all times. I will be back that is a given.

HIGHLY recommend staying here. The gentleman who runs the place is Mr. Gary. He is a great guy, and makes you feel right at home. Have stayed here several times, and have nothing but great things to say about it, and the staff. I travel all year long for work, and it is without a doubt my favorite place to stay. Rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable. Thanks again west gate lodging, Gary, and staff for always making my stays so accomidating, and comfortable! I will be seeing y'all again next month!

The staff is courteous, competent and friendly. The apartments are in good condition and spotless. I stay here whenever I come to Oak Ridge -- several times per year for stays of up to one month. Great value.

Interim housing as we finished constructing a house - exactly what we needed. Management was terrific! Facilities were clean and comfortable. Thanks, Gary, Cindy and staff!!
