Well stopped I'm around 1020pm to get gas after work to snag 30cent off. Tank light on, literally on E...
No worker to be found & wouldn't you know I only had cash. My thought was, okay theyre probably using restroom. I'll wait. Meanwhile 3 others pull up. 2 also need attendant, other uses prepay.
I end up calling store to see what is hold up. Give current situation, customers waiting. Only 2 be told "it's closed" yet hours say 11:30 & no posted sign letting customers know . Her reply after her giggles was oh yeah we closed hour earlier tonight.....

It's a mixed bag. The store is always super clean and well stocked. The selection (Except for the beer) is very good. Prices are a little high but nothing too out of whack. Its easy for find and to access.There are a few downsides. Meats are super expensive even with a card. An evil moron places a large sticker over the original label of discounted items making it impossible to know what it is. The beer selection is lacking. We don't need 50 different packs of Bud Light, we need variety and selection. They won't carry 40 ounce bottles of anything (Hoity Toity attitude). The growler station continues to sell bubba brews from Kentucky (Appealing to the same people that drink Bud Light) and the same old same old pineapple cider (This is so lame). If you do buy booze, your wait time increased four fold waiting for someone to card you.

We we're in Food City this afternoon my bf got 2 chicken legs from the deli we sat down in their little dining area to eat them my bf goes to wash his hands then a fc employee walks up to me and states it should have been paid for before we ate them I showed him I had the bag think maybe the deli person should have said something? He then proceeds to follow us to check out to make sure the 2 chicken legs were paid for($2.18( I get it but come on now

Never go here I went and didn't know they held 125.00 for 6 in gas paying at pump I was upset went too window and a younger female was cashier she was extremely rude she said what I thought she meant what happened no she yelled I can't hear you and not helpful employees at these low budget places need a reality check

I placed a large order with another grocery store a month in advance, verified the day before, to only have them cancel at 10 am before I was scheduled to pick up my order at 1 pm. This order was for my school for a special event. Called Food City and Ms Paula understood my panic and tears - did my order in 1 hour. Your local grocery store and people from the community just treat you better! 5 stars for saving the day!

I went to return an item I bought at this store location. The employee who was behind the Customer Service counter told me he doesn't know how to do a return and left it at that. The employee did not offer to get someone who could help me. The manager comes over and tells me she is too busy to help me and asks me to come back another day. I would not recommend this store location to anyone.
