If you’re going for the dentist don’t ! My fiancé went to get a tooth pulled and the people there had no clue what they were doing at all ! They didn’t numb him correctly and then proceeded to make jokes and fun of him because he was in a lot of pain due to their negligence!!

This place does not do a good job at all they only care about themselves, not the people that they are SUPPOSED to take care of the staff in the houses are usually good people but the people who call the shots do a horrible job.

I'm an employee for Rmory Valley Center. The things they do for the people we support is amazing! Also the things they do for their employees are also amazing! If you know someone with intellectual disabilities, please consider giving them a call.

I've found the family support program to be more stressful than helpful. My emails have been ignored or response is usually very delayed. They "found" a two month-old order request and instead of asking if we still needed it they went ahead and bought it. Now I have the headache of trying to return it which is difficult since my car is on its last legs and they also refused to offer any idea of what places might accept their payment by phone to have repairs done. This program was suggested because I've been in caregiver burnout, so worried about everything, but it's added to the load rather than relieve anything. They don't want to help and get snarky for no reason.

Long story short the houses are poorly managed, staff make the job unpleasant, and the people that are cared for aren’t taken seriously when they ask for help. Employment was a nightmare.

I’ve worked for Emory Valley Center for almost 2 years now in the Early Intervention Department. My job is unique as I travel from home to home, working alongside families to help their child overcome challenges and meet developmental milestones. Even though I don’t see my coworkers often, Emory Valley has instilled a culture of teaming that is unlike no other I’ve experienced. This is trickled down from the very top as I’ve always felt supported in my current capabilities and in my desire to continue to expand my knowledge and practice as an Early Interventionist. Emory Valley provides ongoing education and training opportunities that are well-rounded to the services I provide all while encouraging me to prioritize my mental health first. I am truly grateful to be a part of this team!

As an employee at EVC, I've been impressed with the agency's clear communication, ample opportunities for professional development and regular request for employee feedback. I'm grateful for the services EVC provides to individuals and families in our community, but also for the support they provide to their own employees!

I just interviewed with the HR director by the name of Anthony. He was extremely polite and respectful. He is extremely passionate about the company and the work that they do and it was very contagious. I am so incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to speak with him, and I will be praying for an offer letter soon! Thank you all for everything that you guys do for those with special needs. As a mother of 2 special needs children and also being an ordained minister, I would devote my heart soul to this cause.

I have been blessed by the support I have received. It's very good to have an agency that acknowledges the real needs of anyone with disbilities when there is no other place to turn.

Great location to host our small graduation gathering! The space was perfect and secure and they were very helpful with setting up our video presentation.
