These girls did a fantastic job on my wedding dress. It fit me like a glove. If I could get married all over again I would definitely choose these girls to fit my dress. They were so nice and polite to me and my mother. If I could give this place 10 stars I definitely would ❤️❤️❤️

Lady James Atelier made a custom baby shower gown for me, as well as another custom dress. Both dresses were designed perfectly, and fit extremely well. I love the detailed flowers and intricate sewing work that was done. I got so many compliments about how beautiful my dresses were on my special occasion. I looked a fashion influencer for a day, and I loved it!The ladies were professional and kind. You can really tell that they are passionate about helping you execute your look. I will continue to tell everyone about how great Lady James Atelier is. They are by far the best fashion designer company in the Nashville, TN area.

From the moment I called and spoke with Emily, I knew we were in good hands.Emily was willing to take in a prom dress at last minute, and make the necessary adjustments needed. She and I spoke about another dress purchased off line which came incomplete. She came to the rescue twice in 24 hours! Bravo!!! I can not thank her enough for saving the day!Due to Emily’s willingness to work on the second dress quickly today. I paid almost $600 for alterations for my cups that I got added to show. The service was great though.My response to your response: and it may be my fault that I didn't pay more attention to the cups. I was definitely on cloud 9 overall... Although the work I got done was not extensive.. you added cups.. trimmed 1 or 2 layers and added the train holders. I appreciate you guys. The 2 stars is how I felt having to cut my cups so they wouldn't show(after spending that amount of money). I'll change it so it won't hurt your rating.Service: Wedding gown alterations

I am very disappointed in the service I received. They had my bridesmaids dress for 2 weeks. Long story short, the day before my scheduled pickup appointment I received a phone call asking to move my appointment to the following week because the tailor had covid. I could not extend for another week as I was headed out of town for the wedding the week before the wedding. I rearranged my schedule and took off work to change the pickup time to a day later then the original. Upon picking up, I should have inspected the dress more closely, but I have used them in the past and trusted them per their previous work. The hemming on my dress was not great quality. It looks extremely rushed and sloppy, like the dress wasn't complete and the tailor was sick, etc. They couldn't even take the time to trim the strands to clean up the hem. The hem and stitching is uneven in places. The layers are uneven and in my opinion not worth the $70 I paid. I called the next day to raise my concerns. They were extremely defensive, saying this never happens, that I should have brought this to their attention in the store and that bringing it back in to be fixed was my only option. I expressed that I could not take off work again that day and I was leaving out of town for the wedding the next day. I offered to send pictures of my concerns, but refunding even a portion of what I paid was not an option they would not even discuss. I am just very disappointed in the lack of professionalism in both their work and customer service.Service: Alterations

I cannot say enough good things about the service I received from the professionals at Lady James. I brought them three pieces that needed heavy customizations/alterations accompanied by a tight deadline. The ladies made special accommodations to get my pieces back to me in time and they performed a flawless job. The pieces I brought them are work clothes that are subject to heavy abuse all over the world (in the touring music industry). Over the recent touring season the pieces have held up impeccably and proven very durable. I received exactly what I specified and receive compliments on the pieces at every show. Additionally, I expected my requests to cost double what I was charged, so given the quality of work, quick turnaround time and my specific requests I feel I received a fantastic deal. If you need your work done with the utmost care, durability and attention to fine detail Lady James is your only option. They're the absolute best. I will certainly be a return customer to Lady James in the near future. Thank you Emily & Sarah!

I came here to get a bridesmaid dress done. I was a little worried as it was too small on me. They did a fabulous job and were able to let out the seam excess for a perfect fit. They have a cute studio space and were great to work with! I highly recommend!

I was in need of a suit alteration and called many alteration shops around Nashville. Sadly the turn around time was a bit long here ( that is my fault for waiting so long) but having never had an alteration service before outside of a department store that was included with the purchase had alot of questions. Lady James was hands down the most patient, welcoming and kind service over the phone. Even though they were busy the employee took the time to explain prices, turn around time and the process with great detail and helped direct me in other options when her time frame would not work. I fully would trust and recommend this alteration service in the future and plan on using them next time as I live very close.

Such an amazing establishment! Very professional and accommodating atmosphere from beginning to end. I had alterations done on multiple dress shirts and pants, and the fit couldn’t have been better. The custom pieces in the shop show the talent and artistry that the Lady James team is capable of.
